PZ 3 J1 is BR2.

If asked, I’d also say it was a mistake to add heavy tanks at all, and panther, to this game. At least with PZ3/4, Sherman, and T-34, pretty much regardless of variant, they can all kill each other without difficulty, and the infantry gameplay isn’t plagued with the endless cycle armor/plane/armor spam to deal with the iron monsters on the field.
This is the biggest problem with vehicles in general. The complete lack of enforced scarcity leads to endless spam of whatever the flavor of the month weapon or vehicle and destroys any sense of pacing or balance. Tiger 2s or pz4j’s or p47s wouldn’t be such an issue if it wasn’t for the fact that as soon as one of them is destroyed, there’s another one already spawning in to take their place.
There have been good suggestions on how to limit the number and frequency of weapons and vehicles, and the devs really need to start looking at implementing some of them.
Not front pen all of the BR1 and 2 tanks can pen PZ IV J only from turret try it 45 mm cant(70 mm of pen at 0 meters) pen 80 mm of front armor and if they are angled good luck and L-10 canon is short infantry support cannon great HE but t-28 shrapnel round only has 31 mm of pen at zero meter wow and T-28Es APHEBC has 67 mm of pen at zero meters I don’t care about pz iv J as I never talked that they were unkillable in dowtier a single shot from T-28E to turret and they are dead since T-28Es round has great amount of filler
yes and how many KV-1s have you seen in a downtier? again we come back at this first thing iv never talked about KV-1 being balanced in downtiers but neither is pz iv j and since most new players play be 1 and 2 do you think they are going to know where to shoot a KV-1 or PZ IV J no they wont but which one is currently a problem in downtiers and again PZ III J1 can pen KV-1 even from front armor same with puma and if you really want to one shot use Italian tank destroyer there is hatch on the KV-1 front armor you can pent it and it will go boom so there are counters for KV-1 but not that I care since probably wont see a KV-1 in dowtier for a long time

What’s the practical difference between Pz IV F2, G, H and J ingame? Compared to T34 and KV1? A bit longer gun and better hull armor while still using the same shitty turret, which can get front pen by any soviet tank that is not a T60

Look if you fail to pen the 50mm flat armor, is a you issue, cuz is lot easier than penning the 50mm of T50 turret and you should know how bad that was in Moscow before merge

I say again The Pz IV J and KV1, and 76mm armed t-34s are not strong enough for BR 4 and won’t get played if they are changed.

Fucking remove heavy tanks and the panther, this is an infantry game

All heavies and the panther are BR 5 only sees BR 5, never downtiers, and we let the sweatlords play the way they want without ruining everything BR3+

I encounter them in 2 out of every 5 games and if you think it’s that easy, I challenge you to penetrate a KV1 with a Panzer III N, literally the only thing I can do is screw up the tracks with two or three shots at each one (while this inbulnerble bastard can destroy me with one shot while I do it). It is clear that what the post says is that this is unfair, which is why the BRs should be separated. If you want to talk about the jumbo gun’s when comparing to the kv then you also need to talk about pen where the jumbo has the better end as it has 92mm at flat strike angle compared to the sub 80 of the l-11s at the same situation, which isn’t enough for the tigers nor tiger 2s side armor, panther it can deal with on the sides however; though funny you mention flanking against the jumbo, did you know that the 4J and H can actually overmatch the jumbo’s lower side armor, now for that to happen against panther at the same angle you would need something like the American 90 mil
