WTF is with this thing, nothing penetrates this thing, TNT on the top doesnt work, 4 ex pack on top of engine and turret did nothing as well even though it shows those are the weakest point on the tank.

I used Kamikaze Ex Pack, cant be skill issue if i throw it at point blank
as i wrote i did just that but for some reason doesnt seem to work, even TNT placed clearly on top didnt work, and i used 2
Top of the engine with TNT works the best for me.
Det pack are indeed not that great against KV1, you have to aim for the right spot.
Try again with TNT I’m sure you will have success. It works.

i think problem may be connection issue with the server, on my screen i placed on top of engine or turret but the server doesnt see it that way and my TNT was planted elsewhere, i recall that movement and collision together is still glitchy

You can try to do it in training mod.
Tanks have no crew, but it explode the same. And there will be no server problem.
now theres a good idea to test it out, if it works then it would be server issue

Look with X-ray where the driver sits and drop it on his hatch. Or the radio operators hatch.
I’ve been killed by enemy tanks maybe twice while using a KV-1, and it was after killing multiple enemy tanks the entire match. Never been killed by det packs or fully killed by TNT (loose a few guys though).
Seems the best way to kill the KV-1 is to either get in a plane and bomb it, or use the AT Genade Rifle to pick off the crew (Not the Kar98k with AT grenade).

Naw the KV-1 tanks are just broken and somehow, the German tanks suck donkey balls on the other hand.
The reason why the Germans even rolled out the KwK 40 for the Panzer IV was because they met the KV-1 during Barb and was practically steamrolled by quite a number of them, especially Prokorovka and the merit of Kolobanov where his KV-1 was slicing thru the entire German column and downed 15-30 tanks with just 5 KVs and none of the KV-1s were even broken beyond repair.
At that point of time, the Wehrmacht was still using the Panzer III with it’s short 50mm cannon so if you’re telling me that can’t cut thru a KV-1, I understand.
What I fucking don’t is just how weak the Panzer IV Aust. F2 and even the G variant is. The 75mm can’t pen the broadside of the KV-1 and for it firing APHE, there seem to be no HE element as it doesn’t destroy ANYTHING inside the tank even if the gods are in your favour and pens the god damn thing. It just acts like normal AP shell, gets in, kills one thing and then it’s done. Heck even the 75mm has a problem killing T-70 where it bounces a tank where it’s armour isn’t even thicker than 40mm like… COME THE FUCK ON GAIJIN!
Worse still, the KV-1, despite having a shorter barrel than the KwK 40 both the G and F2 variant has which inherently meant lesser velocity could one shot… ONE SHOT EVERYTHING the Germans had while you on the German side can’t even pen the stupid KV-1. Not anti-tank rifle, not your own tanks, not even the AT gun placement could destroy such things.
Fuck sake nerf the thing or buff the Panzer IVs. It’s getting ridiculous when everyone swarms to the Soviet side because it’s a sure-win machine with such broken stuff and the Germans are reeling hard with defeats after defeats. Ain’t fun.

That isnt how you deal with kv-1, yes it will destroy it but…
You need drop it on engine deck and detonate it instantly, then enjoy how those tonker bois scream while burning

Go to the practice range and try out the tanks you have unlocked and learn the weaknesses (you want to hit the ammo rack for best results
You want to surprise the KV-1 by attacking the flank to allow some margin of error.
kv is broken, the vulnerable spots also seem to behave inconsistently with actually destroying it. sometines one tnt under the front-left side will one hit it straight from spawn, then other times same spot doesnt even bruise it. if u plan to take a kv out make sure u got a squad worth of soldiers to cycle tnt through tbh otherwise if ur not in a confrontation match u can just ignore it. one time in stalingrad i even placed like 3 tnt in that spot and then like 2 on the drivers hatch and the tank only got taken out bc the crew got out
they all Russian? however the T-34 and T-34-85 in Berlin can still be handled with the Panzerfaust. Stalingrad however has AT rifle which is why the KV-1 is almost immortal.
