Kuaili 1888 Kiangnan
Characteristics:
Calibre: 7.62 mm
Ammunition: [7.62 x 55 R]
General:
His history is confused and poorly documented. Apparently, they were built between 1891 and 1901, with all stocks being decommissioned and scrapped at date. Their quality was significantly inferior to that of the Austrians that were produced at the Hanyang Arsenal and it seems that few of them were built. In the official documentation, there is no written record of the caliber of the weapon, but the diameter of the cartridges examined is about 7.82 mm which would give a caliber of 7.62 mm.
