The Kulometná pistole vzor 38 (submachine gun model 38), also known as the Samopal vzor 38, was developed in the late 1930s by František Myška. The weapon was officially put into service with the Czechoslovak Army with an initial order of 3,500 units. However, due to the Sudetenland Crisis, large-scale production of the submachine gun was halted, with only a small number being fully completed. None of the completed samples were used by Czechoslovak soldiers

Some sources say 15 were produced, others say 20 were produced.
