This seems like it ought to be a no-brainer. The game already has great thick-foliage mechanics from the Normandy campaign, already has ANZAC troops in Africa, and there are no real balancing issues to worry about. The campaign would offer some intense infantry fighting in some widely varied and refreshing localities - the beach landing, the jungle trail, the airstrip and the mountain pass. If they wanted to go really crazy, they could add in some ambient wildlife like birds, fish, lizards and even cassowaries (the jungle and reef ambience really stood out in BFV).
Would be an excellent play and a soft landing into the Pacific theater.
as fun as it may be, I don’t believe there’s enough players for a 5th campaign, But I could be wrong. Maybe it could just be a new map for custom games if the devs think its worthwhile to add.
I do wanna see how australian guns like the manlicker stack up to the arasucka. Arasuckas shoot pretty fast in moscow, but I never bothered to look if they’re manlicker fast.
arisaka in moscow is more of an exotic weapon, i don’t think it works exactly that way, i think once the campaign with japan is released the arisaka will be very different in performance
Well, main forces of Japanese is Army, not naval garrisons. SNLF had only hundreds of troops.
Generally it sounds interesting battle, but Japanese doesn’t have decent vehicles and anti-tank weapons in this battle. To be honesty, in currently game it is difficult to implement such campaigns…
Best balanced campaign for Japs would be Philippines 1941-1942 imo. Us doesnt have really powerfull things there, same as Japanese. They could easily make it balanced. And i want to see 'Muricans with British style helmets and this is maybe only scenario fot it.
