Knorr–Bremse MG-35/36's carrying handle should be rotated down to give better sight picture

Currently, Knorr–Bremse MG-35/36’s appearance when aiming down sight looks like this.

While the sight picture itself is good, the carrying handle is unnessescarily obstructing.
It’s horribly distracting.

While staying true to the actual real-life design, this terrible feature is not necessary, as the carrying handle can actually be rotated down.

I would like to propose that the model could be adjusted to increase usability, in the same vein that Vicker Mk.1 No.2’s sight was adjusted as per community suggestion based on another historical alternative sight design.

honestly not that special, feels pretty much like MG30 or MG13 with pretty much the same firing sounds.

Compared to RPK43 or Hotchkiss it’s hardly meta-changing, more of a practical collector’s item.

Thanks. I’m considering it as an alternative to Breda 30 or ZB in a German BR II lineup.

Compared to MG13, MG35 is more effective in terms of opening speed and dispersion penalty, and can be used as a superior substitute for MG13.

Thanks a lot for this! I just got the Knorr-Bremse MG-35/36 because it’s partly Swedish and as a Swede myself I think it’s fun to have a gun with some connection to the history of my nation during that time. I kind of just accepted this handle placement, even though it did annoy me a lot. I decided not to get more than one because of it. To see that the carrying handle can be pointed downward instead is some good news if that could be implemented. I really like the way it sounds and the reload animation etc. It’s nice. Performs okay as well. Just fun to have it really.
