No matter the game, if its an FPS. So opinions will be varied and a lot of topics get re hashed so its going to be a wild thread as a result.
End of the day, if you are playing for the team , and not for personal stat gain, its a worthy choice.
I do much like you, run in guns heavy to clear houses, rooms, tanks, fortified areas, rallies. Dying happens a lot when you are the tip of the spear. There is no logical way around that.
My main points from the very beginning were to not use one item as a measuring stick against all others.
Its the total effort that matters the most.
Abuse of mechanics (grey zone camping) etc while they can help to a degree, are really a cheap way of playing. It can be a good way to pad a KDR though.
Thats why when I was making videos, my biggest points were always , where to set a rally, where are the main lanes of reinforcements coming from. How to disrupt formations, etc. This game is good because it has so many facets needed to win beyond piling bodies on the point.
Hopefully you keep enjoying it and learning as you go.
Even to this day approaching 3k games, I still learn tricks and tactics when up against players.
