:::

My recommendation is to give it 1x 800kg for one powerful blast and then it can utalise its extremely fast bomber speed to reload another 800kg bomb very quickly. The Main strength of this bomber is its durability, defensive armament, its sheer high speed, climb and agility. Despite being a big bomber, its wing loading is still low enough to match fighter planes such as BF-109G-10. Its no slounch in evasion and turn fighting to troll enemy planes.

Whilst Ju-188A does have bigger bombload of 6x 250kg… sometimes i think a well placed 1x 800kg bomb in enlisted meta is superior. Furthermore whilst the Ju-188A is still trying to make the best use of all of its 6x 250kg bombs circling around the battlefield, the Ki-67 can already be on its way going for its 2nd 800kg bomb and it has a significant speed, acceleration, climb and turn rate advantage over the Ju-188, nevermind the insane defensive capability of the Ki-67 compared the the german Ju-188.

In WT, this thing is just phenominal
In Air RB , just dogfight with it and gunship people and troll, its very effective

TRUST ME LOL

In Ground RB, you just yoink a 800kg bomb on group of tanks, they bring out the ‘revenge’ fighter planes out just to get gunned down by the Ki-67, not only denying them the revenge they want but increasing their rage.

Id also like to point out that the side gunners have enough of an arc angle to aim directly behind the plane as well. this means the Ki-67 features 4x 12.7mm + 1x 20mm defensive firepower towards the rear. A Mini Deathstar basically

Dreaming about those 1000kg bomb craters.

Don’t really think it is worth br5.

Sometimes… what about most of the time? Are you gonna waste time to wait for the perfect time to drop the bomb?

How is it an advantage tbh? Ju-188 can drop 3x250kg to mimic you dropping 1 800kg. So the time it takes is still less since it can do it twice while you are still replenishing bomb.

Doubt its effectiveness in Enlisted, in WT air RB you have 3rd person view and the ability to control multiple gunners at a time. But in Enlisted you can only control 1 gunner at a time.

This thing is not as good as you think it will be.

they are better options for place, even if I like the bomber idea, think, friend

But probably still better than the overtiered DAY1 which to be fair is not that hard.

Yeah youre right. But your comment adds nothing. A good alternative to the D4Y1 would be the D4Y3.

Ah yes, the meme plane. AKA, Mr. No Blindspots.

  1. with 800kg bomb you dont need to wait for the perfect time to bomb, the blast radius is big. Most of the time theres always enemy tank waiting to die.

  2. Uhm…3x 250kg dropped in a straight line across an area doesnt mean its going to have the width of the explosion of a 800kg bomb dropped on target rich area. and the other 2x 250kg might not even kill anything due to being dropped away from the 1st bomb drop where the enemies are. Also the 800kg bomb is pretty much always guranteed to get you that tank kill as well.

  3. You can take control of the dorsal gunner (1x 20mm Ho-5) which is lethal.

  4. in near future im also hoping for bomber sights.

800kg is just overkill for a tank. Ju188 can just drop a 250kg on the tank and continue hunting while you need to go and replenish the bomb. You are just wasting your bomb potential on a tank.

Its not like you are just gonna bomb a very precise point, you need to cover the target area with bombs. It might not be as wide, but it is has more length.

It’s not like every enemy will be in 1 small circle. The other 2x 250kg will still hit enemy at other place.

Ju188 literally have 2 20mm MG151, 1 of them is even on a full traversable turret.

Yeah 2x 20mm but one of them is in the nose so it doesnt really count.
The otherone is above the cockpit with no tail gunner due to the plane design. The defensive armament of Ju188 can easily be avoided simply by flying from below and behind.

Ki-67 has deadly 12.7mm HE round filled guns at 1000RPM, and x4 of them even if you fly to avoid the 20mm dorsal turret.

Ju188 still has 2 mg below the cockpit.

You can only control one of them at the same time. Have fun constantly switching between soldier to find the enemy plane.

All the stuff you said can only compensate the lack of bombload compare to JU188. So it is br4 at best.

I mean if you think a plane with 800kg bomb, 552km/h max speed is a good idea at Tier IV, potentially facing Tier II with 1x 20mm + 4x 12.7mm to its rear is a good idea, then sure

Ju188 literally has comparable speed and almost double the bombload.

You are not gonna face br 2, you don’t know how matchmaking works?

You are just too obsess with its War Thunder performance. Those armament won’t be that good in Enlisted.

So it looks like the Ki-67 later recieved wing Pylons
This would give it these payload options:

  • 5x 250kg bombs (5x 550lb)
    or
  • 3x 500kg bombs (3x 1100lb)

@CapitanRastrero what do you think of this

Dude. Dont you get that I dont give a damn about raw bomb weight? Its stupid for a Med Bomber to be providing CAS. Thats what dive bombers, figther-bombers and attackers are for. Id rather we have exhausted all options for CAS before we look at these Mediums again and ask if they are truly necesarry after all. Imagine a B17 doing a low pass to drop a couple of 500lb bombs… its stupid.
