A while back before the USSR Vs Japan event I heard a lot of rumours of a possible ke7 extended mag, weather or not these are true I was wondering what br should it be.
For example:
•if it had a 50 round mag surely it shouldn’t have a sprint factor increases, so it should have the baseline heavy lmg sprint factor of 50%
• personally I’d rather it be at br3 but not have a higher sprint speed, but what br would you put it at?
only if it acts more like a mg42 then a bar that is poor accuracy and a long reload
if it acts like a 50 round bar it needs to go to br5
Surely the weight of the magazine would make it too heavy to have BAR like mobility, but perhaps the Devs will just ignore that fact.
Did I say mobility no I said accuracy and reload what makes a bar more a automatic rifle than a mg. If it has 50 rounds at br 3 it needs to act more like a Soviet ir German mg than an American or the ke7 currently in game. It can’t have snappy aim high accuracy and a quick reload don’t respond to you own ideas and read my posts. A 50 ke7 that acts like a bar or current ke7 would need to be at br5 at least. So if it’s for cosmetic choice ok but if its for performance it neds to be br 5 or br 4 if we get a bar at br2.
Why would a gun with much more weight retain the handling qualities of the same gun when it’s lighter. So a 50 round ke7 shouldn’t be snappy, it shouldn’t be quick to run with and it shouldn’t reload as quickly if its magazine weights twice as much.
It’s pretty similar to the BAR IMOP, and I have been requesting a BAR with a 40 round magazine for quite a while now. If it were created I would expect it to be BR4 or BR5, and I would assume a KE7 with 50 round magazine would be the same.
Even though it’s a ke7 or bar at its core, all the extra weight from the bigger magazine would negate the speed and snappyness of the lighter base model ke7 or bar, meaning it wouldn’t inherit the benefits of being light and instead be more heavy and cumbersome.
The Dev’s need to do some adjusting to either the KE7 or the BAR because the KE7 weighs more then the BAR, yet has a speed penalty of 80% vs the BAR’s 75%. Really the weight difference is fairly negligible so they should be the same. So, they should either drop the KE7 to 75% or raise the BAR to 80%
