I miss my 18 damage Dragoon
I’m tired of having to double tap upper torso
guys how will you guys upgrade the premium weapons coz they are not available from loot boxes
You can’t!
Hence why I made that bug report.
18 damage and 59 shots per minute???
why can’t regular weapons have that
Its even more once fully upgraded after wipe (if they manage to recover them fully upgraded of course)
Upgrading weapons is part of your progression. Without progression, this game is dead. I would personally like more things we can unlock/upgrade but something has to be done about the time it takes to unlock and upgrade things. Also, something has to be done about how you can obtain these upgrades.
And I honestly don’t mind early backers of the game getting better weapons. It’s much more justified than the founder packs.
all rifles need reworking, long rifles have higher RoF than short ones
We don’t pay enough to have that. two premium squads wasn’t enough money for the snail I suppose. Which kinda makes sense in how Gaijin lives off the whales that spend 10k+ on war thunder.
With the current progression system, this game is also dead, soo not really a factor here.
Mooelu doesnt care, he just wants to spend 2000 hours to obtain OP gear and stomp newbies.
Pay to win cannot be justified, unless your justification is “well the game will die within the year, might as well milk as much money from the players as we can”.
And the game let’s him do that
18 damage for a rifle that didn’t even saw combat in ww2 is too much
Plus this rifle was too long and heavy, and despite the long barrel, bullet was not much more powerfull
The weight isnt even higher on the gun, 5kg as always
The devs are too lazy to edit weight values so each gun has its own, realistic weight.
Which has been my issue for the past months
imo, you should not have to spend more than 500 hours to get ANY top tier loadout.
In Enlisted, this translates into having 3 squads fully kitted out so you can spawn in and always have good soldiers.
Like, we are now expected to spend 1k+ hours per nation, per campaign. And I am NOT spending 8k hours to get a decent experience on all campaigns.
I do agree but that is a different problem altogether. And I don’t think much is going to change, now that we are allegedly close to OBT. Best to work with what we have and try knocking some sense in to the devs.
That is much better than spending money to stomp newbies. You can stomp newbies with way lesser time spend in the game. From my experience playing a much worse Soviet side than now during alpha and Germany since then, you can compete with any top tier player quite easily after campaign level 12. Requires a bit of luck and I would like to see that go. Even then, you don’t need 500 hours.
I am regularly up against players much higher tier than me. Players with flamethrowers and what not. Yet, I finish top of the scoreboard 8/10 games. I don’t have the premium squad nor fully upgraded weapons. I don’t use the academy often, therefore no levelled up troops unless I get lucky from the packs. And I haven’t played a FPS game other than Enlisted in the last odd 6 years.
Knowing that a complete revamp of the progression system is not on the cards atleast in the near future, its easier to have a matchmaking system which protects players until campaign level 5 before putting them up in common match making. And then see how things play out in open beta.
To make it clear - its how the game is balanced, russian rifles do more damage, german rifles shoot faster. And vise versa with SMGs, russian SMGs do less damage but with high fire rate, german SMGs are slower and tougher. This is not a simulation game, things like 'amount of damage" which isnt a real life factor - is a balance measure and range of fire is this game has no real impact, except for a damage, which is a balance measure, again. Like its so obvious, no need to complain about p2w. These guns are 3 months ingame and people didnt even knew they are there. Making problem out of nothing, literally.
Except he HAS spent money to stomp newbies. He owns premium squad and P2W founders weapons
lacking the weapon upgrades
lacking the perks
Yeah uh no. You might have the guns, but you still lack 50% comparitive DPS because of you not having +35% health or +15% damage. You might be able to kill them, but that is not competing. Competing implies that skill and pre-selected matchups (think rock-paper-scissors / counters) are the only thing determing whether you win.
Except your gun shoots as fast, if not faster, than most german rifles
and dont try telling me 18 damage unupgraded is perfectly fine when comparing to a sliighly higher rate of fire at the cost of only 14 damage on the other rifles.
I have known they were here for ages. And even if they actually weren’t known, doesnt change the fact: They are pay to win. It is not a good idea to give the top 5% of players just better guns because they decided to buy into the game early
Not trying to brag here, I’ve been in games with him and I almost always got more kills and lost maybe 1-2 squads more or sometimes lesser. And I know for sure he has much better aim than I do. Mine is whack. In Enlisted, there is a lot of ways you can improvise. Tons of ways to get kills and approach the objective. Having the equipment is only half the story.
On paper, yes. Still there are a lot of ways you can compensate for it. Killing is not the first priority in the game.
I do think something has to be done about perks. Them having downsides is a good start. Like 35% vitality gives you 20% reduction in speed and stamina regeneration as if you were having an armour.
I honestly don’t understand how you reach the argument of ‘you can’t compete against players who spent 2000 hours in the game’. Of course you can. Not head to head. This game does not ask you to.
But it is unreasonable for someone to have to give 120% effort to reach the same result as someone who paid, JUST BECAUSE THEY PAID.
or you can just pay and have the compensations / extra effort grant you even more kils.
Like I suggested, have the backpacks actually be functional and actually BE body armor. At least you can actually SEE the “vitality perk” on someone then so you can react to it. That way, having grenades on someone’s body also could mean something, same for ammo pouches etc etc.
Length of the barrel has nothing to do with RoF. Length of the bolt and ergonomics should be what affects it in bolt actions.
A somewhat more realistic proposal to balance length is for short rifles to have reduced shot dispersion from movement (there’s a perk for it but I don’t remember the exact terminology), to represent being easier to handle in close-quarters.
I’ve always been against premium squads. It basically put the better versions of the current meta weapon in game in the hands of complete newbies who will face other newbies without the said equipment while also being able to compete against people who put ‘120%’ effort in the game.
But Kar98K trench for early supporters of the game makes no sense when I think of it. I’ve never been killed by one or ever come across one on the field. Even then, they still require skills to use. As long as it is not available for anyone in the game like ever, I don’t mind the first supporters of the game getting such equipment. It’s a reward for the risk they took and people like me got a pretty good game to play.
Although, I’d rather see founder packs getting rifles than backers. Way too many automatic guns on the field even before premium packs were a thing. And now you have them in the hands of secret HYDRA test rabbits.
Just like mp41 “requires” skill. It just requires less skill than the free variant.
Even though it is exactly the same P2W shit as the MP41?
Exactly. Which is why it shouldn’t be given to the founder pack buyers. They are available to everyone who has money to spend. It helps them stomp new players while also being able to hold up against people who’ve poured hours in to the game. But I find P2W weapons much more justified in hands of early backers. Because one, you can’t find a lot of them in game(especially once there are more players), two, you can’t get them anymore, and three, it’s the reward for the trust they put in the devs to give us this game.
Rather give them a rifle that can consistently one shot on the torso while maintaining the damage for a long distance like the trench. Still require work and skill when aiming. Can’t be used to utterly dominate the field. Not very different from the usual guns when trying to capture points, which is the requirement of the game. Make it a mixed squad with SMGs, LMGs, artillery, sniper and engineer. Such troops make them waste time outside the heated battle areas making their perks less visible to an extent.
It’s far from being in the same level of P2W as the MP-41s. SMGs are the most effective when it comes to capping points. That’s how you win games. Rifles are not as effective and generally a bad weapon to use while rushing in to a zone. So, the ‘win’ aspect is already gone.
Better rifles = better rifles.
IF you use a rifle, these special rifles ARE better AND lead to higher win%.
So they ARE P2W at the exact same level.
The ONLY difference is that the SMGs are meta, and rifles are not. That does not affect the P2W aspect at all, as you only compare the P2W item to their own counterparts
