This rifle ingame looks like is based in airsoft model instead in the real one, feel very underpowered, specially when this rifle use very powerfull round but here in medium distance you need 2 or even 3 shoots in the torse for kill a single enemy.

I don’t know what you’re shooting at but I can 1 shot someone at long range with no scope.

Not really, man. You can one-shot anybody at the chest at <150m range. If you want some heavier damage, try the Vz. 24, it has a somewhat longer range, but the bolt is slower, so it’s worse at close combat.
On Normandy campaign K98K it doesn’t match with Springfield M1903 properly. Springfield has more Alpha damage and on it’s animation something like it’s loading “AP bullets” with black “metal jacket”.
So even with maximum upgraded K98 feels like underperforming.
Are there “hidden stats”?
it should be around the same, though for longer range combat the kar beats the springfield due to the sights alone
In normanday campaing i can do better with Springfiled, not dude is not a git gud problem.

if you’re having issues with killing people with the K98 then it’s your own fault, considering the K98 can reliably one-shot players of all levels including premium squadrons

Are you capable of actually hitting the enemy properly?
Do you only aim at their toes? There’s no other excuse for “feels underpowered” other than you aim at their toes instead of the actual human.
It regularly 1 shots easily from long distances because the sights are great and fires pretty fast. This is an extreme case of Git Gud.
