The Kar-98K is the default gun that comes with almost every person in the game I would like to suggest removing the Kar-98K from the weapons that you get from the wepon crates because it is so common it is pointless to have so many of them I would suggest only having the pre war kar-98 in the loot boxes and the same for the Soviet equals.

It’s definitely not pointless, if you break them all down to upgrade, to say the 4 star K98, it takes a fair few k98’s to accomplish even just one fully upgraded K98.
I would suggest having it all random. With the K98/nagant being the most common, because like you said, the majority of your soldiers are equipped with one, and then making the sniper rifle rarer perhaps
At the moment. I receive more scope k98’s that normal base k98’s which is strange, I don’t even use my recon squad… Think the loot boxes should perhaps reflect the squad you use the most, so let’s say you use assault for 90% of the match and majority of your score came from Assualt, the loot box should have a higher chance of delivering loot for an Assualt role (smgs etc)

Actually if you send spare soldiers to the academy or remove them, you do get their kar98ks returned to your inventory. So every soldier order also gives kar98ks
This is exactly why when I send a soldier to the academy, i remove all his gear, big brain moves.
So you manually do something the game will automatically do for you? Nice
Yea but I have like 20 infantry guys sitting around doing nothing I can just take there kar-98s
I never knew if the game did it for me or not, so instead of risking weapons. I removed it all, just in case
I would rather get better wepons then Kar-98s all the time
The more weapons you unlock, the lower the chance is on getting kar98ks
As far as i know its is not the case- I just sent 3 soldiers to the academy and got their 2 star kar’s back.
That is the academy and has nothing to do with loot boxes. You get the weapons the soldiers was carrying when they get sent to the academy.
