I see rewarding K/D ratio working only on attacking teams, as defenders have unlimited tickets so you have no resource considerations, and only if there is a threshold implemented, say minimum 30 kills. If you spawn tank(s), +30 minimum and/or spawning plane(s) +25 minimum.
Rewards could be maybe boosters or bronze/silver orders as you get xp rewards for other stuff.

Where players that were really great and Building Rallies, and other engineer structures to support there team could be rewarding for there efforts, and other categories could be acknowledged, like efficiency (low K/d) ratio, Captures, esc…
Then a Combined arms category, where all disciplines were considered individually, Best marks men, rifle exc, Then an over all score…

This would actually encourage players to play all aspects of the game
this is really bad suggestion. those guys who died 20 times were actually using their resources to achieve objective. i would always take them over campers who are 300m away from objective sniping. in some games i have seen 5-6 players (teams) camp outside defense zone scared of going inside and dying while enemy was capping. so why should they be rewarded for “saving” their K/D ratio, while some fool is trying to contest enemy and dying cause there is no support from his teammates?
i would rather that they include rewards for most attack/defense zone engagements for infantry and also rewards for most zones captured.
