So this is my first match of Soviets in a very long time (because I play any faction, meaning I usually get Japan or Germany and no one else). And it’s just my luck, that just like Germany, I get given a team that didn’t know what they were doing (they weren’t joking when I had to tell them how destruction worked), a 200% booster, and a loss as the Soviets (I thought that was never supposed to happen).
Devs, the Soviets are too weak. We need to drop the PPSH drum mag and AVT to BR III…
The servers have been a bit on the laggy side recently. I thought it was just my dodgy out-in-the-stix connection, but several users have reported similar issues.
Either way, I sympathise with your loss (or lack thereof, considering you didn’t kill the tank).
Not until Gaijin stops doing artificial balance and start kicking out the Game any player who don’t wanna learn to play and most important of all giving balanced gear to all factions
Perhaps I should make a suggestion about improving the tutorial, as I don’t recall it mentioning anything about rallies or flanking (or even how to defend a point for that matter).
There have been quite a few suggestions in the past to improve the tutorial, all of them helpful. Another one wouldn’t hurt.
Expansion of the ability and the importance of the engineer’s ability should be the focus. I too, sometimes, get tired of asking my team to build a damn rally point.
Flanking an objective should just come about as common sense. You’re attacking a point. Do you go head first into a firestorm? Or do you quietly slip around the back and pick off the determined defenders when they’re not looking?
Common sense is a dying trait in this modern world.
It’s sort of hard, as you need your team to still be pushing the point so that the defenders are distracted otherwise, you’ll just be picked off. Or if you swing out too far to avoid the AI then you might have already lost the point.
The tutorial should at least have some basic scenarios as to when to flank, as I’m unsure half of the time whether it’s the right time to to do it or not. And of course, when not to flank (which is arguably the most important). Sometimes it’s better to just brute force objectives. This is what the tutorial should be teaching, not “z is to go prone”.
We cannot but we could easily replace the sniper squad for a engginier one
Remake tutorials and make some new ones for like APCs and mechanics like mortars/AT weapons/radios and force any new player to pass on each of it
And if this wasnt enough add an advise when your team is strugling to win like:
Your team is stuck, try flanking or making a rally point
And along the tutorial stuff add a option called: " community guides" which Will show You videos from Enlisted content creators abt how to play the Game
And well when i was reffering to kick out those players i was having the thag idea on mind where all newcomers and many actual players learn from those information letting behind any COD baby who don’t wanna use it’s brain for absolutly nothing
I’ve been campaigning for the engie squad to be the first unlockable squad as long as I’ve been playing. This should be a given as far as I’m concerned.
Better tutorials for the other squads you mentioned should also be included and would be a great benefit.
I guess the devs needs to keep the tutorial short but functional. A heavy-layered tutorial will put a lot of the next generations off from completing them. Attention spans seem to be in short supply these days. We used to read a 30+ page manual for a game, now we spend less than 10 minutes in an interactive tutorial…
Adding community and YT guides would be a great help. And be efficient for the devs too, as they could simply link more guides to the tutorial. Whether they’d go for that or not is a different quesiton.
