yeah sometimes happens to me aswell, if it starts rolling to the side and its not perfectly on top or underneath it wont blow up t34s,
and yeah it only happens on t34s i dont have problems on german and american tanks. (atleast for me)
i can confirm for pz IV and PZ III as well.
sometimes t28s, and jumbo for sure.
for pz iv and 3 75% of the time i use piat but when i use detpack never had any problems, and for berlin panther even if it falls on the ground right side of tank, still blows up.
i was at forward 85’-80’ in this fight
and the four shots i had were was fuel/engien in the rare -followed with front to take driver -upper mid to take out gunner/turret ring -then lower mid for ammo
if you’re going to hide the tank’s cannon and most of the HUD do a better job.

well, if you try something like that in war thunder, ( i’m not sure which shells have been hitted first ).
but surely you don’t need so many to take out a jumbo from the side ( especially on that position ).
never played warthunder so im not well versed on shot placement
Man damage models for all vehicles are broken not just the jumbo, it’s a pain for everyone no matter the side, tank battles are trash.

if a tnt goes through panzer 4s and panthers at frontal plate ( which it’s 80 mm ), i’m sure 40 mm shouldn’t be a problem.
