Today i got one of my game interupted by a phonecall but i had a well placed rally point on the deffense, long story short my team held the point and the enemy wiped all 1000 tickets on it. I got around 27 kill only since half the game i was idle due to the phonecall, but just from the rally and that few kill i got 3rd on my team.
Its just crazy that a well placed rally can score more alone than what most of the players are capable to do all game long. Looks like the playerbase is so bad that if you can spawn an engineer & keep a rally building rallies near the objective you are already way better than avg.
Yeah maybe thats due to that paid 2nd BP Halloween event, but damn feels like the players i get matched with and against are worse than the bots lately.
I just started to grind up Japan for BR II aswell & there is so little competition that im sitting with 93.33% WR with them after 15 games.
Axis are doing well these days, but trends are ever changing. You have more than 90% now but if you play Japan long enough it will drop down significantly.
US used to dominate Pacific for months and it could always happen again that one faction gets too popular.
I guess with that MG45 on sale probably its the Germans who will be the main winners for a while.
But tbh it doesnt feel like Japan has better players other than the one in a few games pilot who seem to know how to bomb & easily blow up whatever tank/APC gets marked.
Also i guess by the time the tide changes maybe I will be starting on the soviets. Generally i dont like the full-auto spam on the higher BRs so im not too interested in grinding past a BRII gear & mostly swap around based on what maps i want to play. I swapped from Allies to Japan like a week or 2 ago as i got a bit bored from the North Africa and Normandy maps.
But looking at my other WRs feels like the Western Allies indeed are in a bit of trouble on them and the Germans i got around 85-95 Battle each with Germany sitting on 74.47% while on the Allies im only on 57.14% & i havent played the soviets enough to have any relevant WR on them.
I will try that one too. What also seem to score a few 100s point is to build the MG nest on a decent spot, but oddly enough they dont seem to make use of the AT gun or AA much.
Oh, Japan players ARE better! They fight for the Emperoruuu with honouruuu!
…
Joke aside, you HAVE to be good if you wanna play Japan. Their tt is a bit… lacking. You can’t really rely on their tanks. They’re free points for allies own tanks. Ho ri is good… for a TD. No mg and top so soft, regular arty destroys it! What Japan got, are fighter planes. Really good, at least they got something… to fight against constant rocket spam from superb allies CAS.
Japan players, at higher lvl, are very good. I think it’s due a bit to the “underdog effect”:
Real veterans, having nothing left to prove, tend to flock into the weaker faction for the added challenge. It’s why at some point during Tunisia campaign, Axis dominated even while being outgunned in every department: vets simply wanted to shout in Italian and try to impress
I wouldnt say their TT is bad, probably the Type 2a is my favourite BR II TT SMG ans the Arisaka Rifle is very good too. Its more like their options are very limited. Only their tanks seem lackluster, and their MGs doesnt feel too good at least for BR II.
But as i can see the options narrow down drastically in the higher BRs to the point that for BR V you only got the Type Hei Auto & thats about it
To be honest im not even interested in high BR, low BR with the bolt-action guns is fun, while anything from like BR III feels like just a worse version of Battlefield V.
