Huh Sounds like another myth busted.
This is a pretty significant battlefield weapon. In addition to a heavy MG it also has TWO Javelins mounted on it!!!

as far as I know the so called “roman salute” is a complete BS. I’ve read somewhere that this idea was most likely made by french autor of asterix and obekix stories to score some points in the eyes of local fascist authorities.
I have no idea if the second part is even remotelly true though.
The most probable “proper” roman salutes are:
- raised right arm with an open hand. So technically nazi salite fits here but so does the high five.
- right hand fist placed on your chest

Nah, not Asterix author. Nazis saw a particular painting (The oath of Horatii), which depicted Roman soldiers with their hands raised this way. They were probably merely reaching for the swords… but Adolf and buds thought:
- Adolfy: “whoaa this looks so kewl! We should totally make this our secret club handshake!”
- Himmlick: “Woa, totally!”
- Gobble: “Bruh”

Hopefully one day we get half track transports as well as Mechanized Infantry Squads. We already have motorcycles, which they definitely could add to other campaigns
