I cant seam to place the JU 188 in any unit? What unit operates it?
I have researched and paid for it.
But it is not showing up as an option anywhere for me, even in unavailable???

So what does it mean if I don’t have that unit and I have researched the aircraft?
Hmm. Can it go on whatever Attacker Pilot II squad you have researched? Sorry, my example is from Normandy and I’m not sure what’s different off the top of my mind.
I checked all of my attacker squadrons and none of them would except the aircraft. It wasn’t even listed in unavailable.

I was confused I think what with there being two ZG 26 units, I found it and sorted it all out thanks guys.

Sorry if I created more confusion at first. I had it sorted out but Euthymia beat me to it - which I would expect.

The garbage dump is the correct place.
Be aware, all the gunners are bugged to hell.
They DONT shoot.
Not even if you fly through an enemy bomber raid.
If they do shoot suddenly, on a very rare occasion, they will miss.
Plane is completely useless now.
I used it last 12hrs ago and can never use it again until the bug gets fixed.

Yeah me too.
Time for research, silver for purchase plane, gold for squad upgrade, uprade orders for plane upgrade, silver for purchasing gunners, upgrades for soldier level, silver for fixing the perks, gold order for hero pilot…
and then I take it out for the fist time, only to immediately notice that IT DOESNT EVEN WORK.
Front and top gunner not shooting.
Back and bottom gunners also never shoot.
Front gunner shooting but misses all shots from point blank range.
Top gunner (rotating turret) fires (for my first and only time ever) backwards (where there is NO enemy)
I will just do it myself…
I am extremely disappointed.

Oh my God, Yeah, I dropped a fuck ton of coin on getting that thing completely tricked out. I was looking forward to using it this morning.

I remembre, few months ago, this plane was really good for dog fight (with some practice) and an effective bomber.
When they add the ‘’ controlable tail gunner ‘’, I décide to play with this funny plane to try this new cool update…
Epic fail.
If I don’t use the tail mg, nobody will use it.
Now this plane is just usless in my opinion.

well ju188 gunners have been on cycle between OP, not working and practically useless for the whole game, so not really surprising.

not really effective outside of lucky hit. almost every plane with controllable front guns will kill you in air duel.
