Could I request that the forward facing MG 131 AND the turreted MG151 in the Ju 188 A-2 be enabled. I understand that at this stage the other rear facing guns are not available (but may be in the future), but if a player has unlocked and populated the additional crew slots that correspond with the weapon stations then these should be available to the players for air to air combat.

you cannot use them because unlike war thunder, AI not know how to drive so you would crash with the plane as soon as you leave the controls

Not necessarily. If the mechanic is implemented like when you drive a tank with the commander view: commander in fact controlls both the driver AND the tank gunner + it’s coaxial lmg. Could be the same with the plane 
But anyway I’m not certain it would be that effective a weapon. Still better than nothing I suppose.

you could just be able to use wasd to control the plane and mouse to control the gunner

But players will still have only 1 guy in that plane, as other soldiers from that squad are not in that plane, soo it will still be one guy jumping from plane.
When i used to play Warthunder on PS4 i’d use HOTAS controller and had the hat stick set up as view. That why I could still fly the plane while also being the gunner.
There was a basic auto pilot that kept the plane level too when being gunner. It worked great.
