There is an option to join only one specific team. Like - only axis or only the allies.
I played few hours today on european and east european servers and in the Berlin and Moscow campaigns the Soviets always win, because everyone is developing the soviets and no one want to play germans.
I think that this option should be always on and starting team should be completely random.
Uncheck join random team is near the find match botton
I know where is that button.
But - if I click it, does it mean that other players will also have random teams ?
Because I click it and 90 % of the time I start on the german side.
If is uncheked you play only the actual faction is selected in the main menu, the one wo you see the soldier
If is checked you play both team indipendentaly of whay faction is selected in the main menu
The option is only for you and dont have conquences on other player
I was thinking the same about it.
The “join random faction” doesn’t actually balance the games. In Tunisia if you have this selected, it will will put you on Allie’s, the most played faction in the campaign.
I’ve had this selected and it put me on Tunisia as Allie’s against a full 10 axis bot team.
So yeah it doesn’t balance teams.
You shouldn’t be forced to use it but there should be an incentive to use it.
Also weird thing I found by using it is that I usually get Japan in the Pacific, yet unlike other campaigns, Japan actually wins more often than not.

In the Berlin campaign Germans sometimes win. In the Moscow campaign Russians win 95% of the time.
I have enabled “join any team” option and most of the time I am getting assigned to the Germans.
