Jasper Monteth? What kinda Murican name is that?

In cbt I had a German name Volkhard Rolser which came with +100% ammo perk. So I’d say he was pretty hard hehe

I will call him Jasper Monteth the 3rd.

I mean I used to have Bob Ross in CBT. Now I only have my pilot Dick Johnson for an iconic name

Imagine being one of their grandsons and some genius claims that your grandfather name is not American enough for a computer game…

Hats off to you ViiK for going that extra step on every post you comment on. Sounds to me like the op is profiling last names in a video game and calling them “not American enough” to be real while ignoring the facts everyone’s given him on this post.

Do you have Ricardo Milos?

1 Famous American general in american civil war,was russian emigrant.Yes USA it british colony but they have more other nations,it more robbers, killers, and other criminal(spanish, chinese, french, germany…)

An underscore in the name? Wow, that’s eccentric.

Legend!

and I thought most of the people watched The Pacific…

i don’t think names are an issue anyway since they confirmed the ability to change their name further down the line.

perhaps you should start to reconsider your priorities.

:woman_shrugging:

The US in general was more White during WWII than it is now, I’m sure, but there WAS some multiculturalism going on back then. The US needed all the troops they could get, especially later in the war. They even had an all-Japanese section, though they had to be born in America (Japanese-born Americans weren’t allowed due to fear that they might have inner conflictions about being at war against Japan which is where they were born), and I think also that they had to spend most of their life, or all of their life, or have spent a sort of minimum time, in Japan. As it happens, the motto of this part of the US Military was “Go for Broke.” If I’m not mistaken, they are the most-decorated squad or platoon or regiment or whatever it is, of WWII, for America. They’re the 442nd. There were also Blacks who served, and I’m certain there were Hispanics too. The film Fury has an Hispanic in the film, one of the members of the tank that the film revolves around. Love that movie. Now, multiculturalism can be pushed too hard, generally by leftist sympathies.

For example, though it’s gender-based and not race-based, the female Ghostbusters movie. No way am I touching that, seems cringe. I was big into Walking Dead, I stepped away from the series for a while and the next time I heard something about it, I found out they featured some Muslim characters, showed one Muslim woman wearing an hijab and toting an AK. I have not seen it but I suspect that this female Muslim is a Mary Sue, a character that would not and cannot do wrong, and is basically virtue-signalling. Lost all interest in returning to the series. I’ve written zombie survival novels before and I did ultimately feature some Muslim characters, but they were NOT “Mary Sue” type characters. They dealt with real issues of… well… best not go into detail of it lest I offend the wrong people and get my account deleted. Suffice it to say, I am not interested in pushing ‘diversity’ for ‘diversity’s’ sake, especially given that the leftist definition of that word can be summed up as ‘non-White,’ ‘non-Christian,’ and ‘non-straight.’ Granted I myself am not totally straight, but regardless, smells like BS to me.

So yeah, including SOME Hispanic stuff, and indeed even some Black stuff, to a LIMITED degree, it would be realistic. Like that one Black Sinegalese squad in Verdun which is based during WWI. Were there many non-Whites in the trenches of WWI on the Western Front? HELL NO! Were there Black Sinegalese who were serving their French colonialists? To my understanding (correct me if I’m wrong), yes, and so allowing ONE squad of Black Sinegalese amidst the sea of all-White British, Canadian, American, and German squads? Sounds good to me as long as it was historically accurate. If not, kick 'em out, but to my knowledge they were there and so if that’s the case, go for it, it’s not ‘diversity’ for no reason, and that’s the main thing.

So hopefully we’ve found some middle ground there?

I was just saying - it breaks immersion, and role playing. Ya know?

Like, you see the footage, right? From those days. And this just doesn’t match.

lol like having black guys in WW2 German army lol No offense, but just wasn’t the case

But I will go ahead and shut up lol I’ve said enough, and stepped on too many toes already.

Cheers

To my understanding, there were Muslims that fought under Nazi Germany.

They even mention Jewish converts to Islam, and I very recently did research on battles in which Prophet Muhammad lead his Muslim troops, in particular the Battle of the Trenches involved a Jewish population, and at the end it seems like it’s possible that the Jewish men who didn’t convert to Islam were executed and all the Jewish women and children were enslaved. That’s Prophet Moe for ya… Quran doesn’t exactly sing praises of Jews, and helps to explain why so many Islamic nations wish to see Israel, the land promised by God to God’s chosen people, the Jews, wiped off the face of the Earth in favour of this concept of ‘Palestine’ that they have…

I didn’t watch it but maybe I will.

Waiting for Jews names with -berg and Polish with -y

But if you are going for Kowalsky, keep it with -i.

sorry for the late answer, but apparently someone thought that limiting the forum was a good idea:

i’m sure " Jasper " is surely breaking your immersion.

definitely not a jumbo or any m24s.

you call it buddy…

doesn’t necessary have to. and as far i’m watching the above comments, they do prove that were common or to the very least, “realistic”.

which i think it does the job as this game is meant to be somewhat realistic.

i don’t think that’s related, or comparable.

i’m afraid.

it’s not matter of toes, but common sense.

no offence, but you clearly haven’t made researches.

You know that spanish people are white… you know that, right? And that there is a difference between Hispanics and Latinos, right? And that the latin migrants of today speak spanish and are of spanish new world culture, but often have only (or mostly) native ancestors? And that the Hispanics are usually descendents of european spaniards and therefore pretty white? You ever been to spain?

You know that roughly 20% of the people there have blonde hair? And that the the darker haired, brown eyed people are also pretty white?

OP is quite ignorant. He’s never heard the name Jasper?

You are both right and wrong. They are right, but for WWII, not modern times. Apparently it is true for American names.

An American name can be anything… Americans are predominately made up of transplants after all.
