Japan's "sniper" tank mg need to be replaced with standard mg

It’s not all tank mg on Japanese tanks but several of them are more sniper then mg. What i mean is the one that you can’t use while using the main gun. You have to switch to machine gunner before using them. unlike most mg you can use at any time to you know protect against infantry.

instead with sniper mg you switch to the mg position then auto zoom in and can only use mg. while i good idea if and only if you had more than one mg. its garbage at close range and cant work with the main gun. Why have a mg soldier at all sure it is one more health point but what are the rest of the crew doing while mg is working brewing tea.

Japanese tanks are almost equivalent to not having MGs. This game seems to be full of prejudice against Japanese tanks.
The T28’s machine gun works very well

Not sure what could be changed about that. Commander seat can still use both ( if it exists) but tieing the hull mg to the turret would only confuse newer players as to why the mg does not shoot where they want as they are used to coax mgs.
But as it is the removal of the hull mg might be even seen as a buff as it frees up a crewmember to replace the loader while only sacreficing a very situational rarely usefull hull mg.

Lame excuse, same thing will happen when you use commander view.

The T28 actually has this problem, but as you can see, the T28’s machine gun works very well, better than the Japanese tank

The T28 mgs are in a turret and not just limited to 20 degree fied of fire like the hull mgs are.
Even if you want the use the mg it most of the time it wont be perfectly aligned to help you. The T28 atleast can rotate them.

Better than having to manually switch to commander’s perspective to command the MG when I need it

But that is how multi gun tanks and casemates in enlisted work…
Commander uses all guns and gunner only his own gun.
As the mg was elevated to its own “gunner” slot of the tank it wouldnt make sense from a consitancy stand point to change who else has access to that.

It is stupid and annoying but that is why DF decided it wants it to be.
I dont like it. I hate it. But still if DF doesnt want that there is little I can do about that.

Well they can add some tanks like Sōkō Sagyō Ki with flamethrowers for close support against infantry and Type 87 Chi-I medium tank they can be used against infantry or Type 93 armored car. But the type Type 87 Chi-I medium tank is the only Japanese tank with ''decent ‘’ MG with a lot of bullets.

Or maybe they can add premium Thailand Squad with Vickers 6-ton Type B that will be some normal tank experience xD

Then just delete the independent mg gunner function and directly bind the mg to the main gunner. Just like M2a4 and T-28.
