These two guns needs a rework or something. They are way to close in quality and ability but type 99 is far inferior to the type I despite being far less historically accurate. Allow me to explain
The type 99 is 7 rounds slower then the Type I. Type 99 rounds have slightly more mass also only hits for 0.3 harder then the Type I. The Type 99 has BEARLY like 0.1 difference in damage drop off over longer distances.
The Type I has 30 m/sec quicker over the Type 99. With its higher rate of fire quicker bullets and superior horizontal recoil and minuscule damage drop off WHY would I ever take a Type 99 over a Type I??? Whats worse is even after the 40% upgrade discount, economically the Type I once again comes out as the better choice! Its 10 Bronze Orders for the final upgrade. The Type 99 cost 20 Bronze Orders to fully upgrade! For once again minuscule performance difference why would I choose the type 99? Outside of just being historically accurate there is literally no reason to chose the Type 99. Hell most cases I still use the type 38 cause the fire rate is so wonderful for close quarters. The Type 99 Needs a boost or something to make it worth it. Type 99 is way to expensive to even upgrade.
