Exactly the same zoom level.
The Type 99 cover a little more the screen.
The damage:
The Type 97 have a little less damage at 10m but dominate the Type 99 at middle and long range.
6 shot per minutes more for the Type 99 which is not worth if you fail to OS ennemy at long range.
So… Why would I use a less efficient, and more expensive Type 99, a simple worst lvl 18 copy of a lvl 0 sniper?
Suggestion: Make the Type 99 worth playing it in front of the lvl 0 sniper.

Half of the thing you mentionned, the USA got a better version. (AA gun, SMG, LMG, sight BA, Marines raiders squads)
The other have is useless or a niche (plane, boat tank, bayonet on SMG, katana) Seriously, why do even put the katana in your list?! It look like you try to find excuses to say “Japanese have good weapon”
Or they are the same (WP, TNT, bomb strike)

In reality USA got:
better tanks
better AA Tank: the infantry mowner M13
better LMG: BAR
better semi auto: M1 Garand
better BA: USMC M1903A1
better SMG: Thompson
better Sniper: it takes 0.5s more to roload but look at the scope
I agree with most of this but the Japanese definitely get the better bolt action with the Type 38 rifle. I also like the Japanese LMGs, having a scoped LMG is actually quite nice.
Bitch the fucking bar doesn’t take up 90% the screen to aim down sights and since they nerfed lmg dispersion when the battle of Berlin was new the BAR STILL has the best dispersion of any lmg in the game also doesn’t take 2 weeks to reload. There isa reason the wz 1928 is the best squad in Normandy it’s a German BAR, a German lmg that doesn’t piss bullets wildly like a drunk incontinent
If we compare the two close iron sight BA we got this:
USA is better by 14 bmp
If you don’t care about the iron sight then the only real paramater that matter is the rate of fire
and we got this:
In that case yes Japanese is better by 10bmp
In my case I couldn’t do kill with BA before the 12 first level because of the iron sight. So the USA is better and you can get the USA version lvl 1, without any grind.
But for people who don’t care the 10bpm extra rate of fire is a plus. And then the Japanese is better.
I didn’t get to Marshall by useing meta gun’s i got there by useing whatever gun’s i wanted and could get my hands on and through share grit and determination so frankly you can go and shove you’re disrespect up you’re arse.
