When I was reading a memoir (With The Old Breed) of a soldier (Eugene Sledge) recounting Japanese machinegun fire, I couldn’t help but notice this one statement:

If the Japanese were using a bluish-white tracer in WW2, then why are they using a green tracer in Enlisted?

Give the Japanese their bluish-white tracer, please; that is all.

Perhaps, but I doubt they even know about this stuff because it isn’t in their Russian Wikipedia articles. I personally believe that memoirs would be more reliable than Wikipedia in terms of what actually happened, after all, the people writing the memoirs were there.
