Japanese machine gun damage is too low

Why is the damage of type 11 and tyep96 12.3?

Federlov, who also uses isaka 6.5mm Rifle Cartridge, even has 12.6 damage. In addition, Federlov uses reduced charge ammunition

LMGs get a 10% damage increase with the upgrades while everything else gets 20% (also if you want to get technical the stock federov does 10.5 while the LMGs do about 11 stock)

you should be grateful it does any damage, when i use any weapon in berlin it does no damage at all

It seems low for me as well, 2-3 average shots for a kill instead of 1-2 like I’m used to. I think it could perhaps be related to the new damage models, not just the flat numbers; Arm/leg/hand/foot shots do less damage this update than before.

LMG on other campaigns seem to have a base damage of 12 stock, whereas most of the Japanese do 11,2 which does give significantly worse performace at mid-long range, especially against targets without vitality. Needing 1 more shot to down the target, is often the same as needing 100% more shots on target. Feels bad.
