Japanese level three weapons are less then inspirational

Ohh you can play BR 4 also its solid BR. BR III is really the worst cuz the tanks are bad the rifles are bad no planes … only smgs and lmgs are ok but not great. At BR IV however you have amazing SMGs amazing LMGs ,Chi-To ,Ki-61-Otsu so BR IV is a perfect BR to play the KE7 specially if you make assaulter squad Tokyo Arsenal and KE7 look amazing but you will probably go for the new Te-4 cuz its solid LMG for its BR.

For me personally the 120mm Chi ha is a very fun tank to use even if shermans are such a pain to kill.
The type 96 barely has recoil so for me that is an amazing gun the use.

But still planes are very lacking for that BR.

Dang the Japs had a lubed bullet gun too? Weird

Yeah a lot of early semi and automatic guns used this type of bullets.

Sounds bout right

I personally run set ups for every single BR in Japan, 1 through to 5 just now surpassing 1400 games played as Japan and I do agree that BR3 is a bit lackluster in terms of your overall choice. No choice of attacker plane and the one bomber available really sucks the most, no main defensive armament at the front is a real buzzkill.

With the Otsu I was actually pretty thrilled about it’s damage being buffed to be the same as the Hei, but at the end of the day it really does feel like a BR2 weapon, as nice as the firerate and recoil is. It’s very unfortunate that every high capacity option of rifle at BR3 is relegated to content that’ll only temporarily be there with the battle pass shop about to leave.

Minus the Type Ko which is a premium (one that I’ll very likely finally buy once they announce it’ll be pulled away like the Ka-Chi was). I look forward to the Hino rifle coming, but once again there’s only going to be 4 of them total.

But onto the things that are good, the KE7 is decent, it’s dispersion cone whilst ADS and moving even slightly feels pretty awful, but the mobility and stability when stationed up sitting still is pretty solid, really quick reload and open sights too.

The Chi Nu is a decent enough tank, armour is a bit middling but it holds its own well enough, the Na-To is a joke, I’d honestly put it at BR2, the Ho-I HEAT shells have made its gun and APCR almost completely redundant, not to mention it’s horrid mobility and over exposed crew too, just really bad.

All in all I really hope BR3 will get a little more love with Japan, I wouldn’t hate for the Type 4 to move to BR3, but I really want a replacement at BR4 in the TT for my BR4 line-up, which no surprise is made up of a lot of type 4 rifles.

Japanese still don’t have a BR 5 SMG

i know its not really an “smg”, i mean, maybe? maybe not? but the 1930 Type 2 SMG chambered in that 6.5x30 intermediate cartridge could be something like the m2 carbine

Thank you for your post.

I agree.

Really good points here and a solid explantion for this terrible situation of BR III Allies ALWAYS against BR V Japan.

I really wish DF had not dragged Japan to BR V. Its just not right.

I fully agree about Type Otsu and M1941 Johnson they do NOT belong at BR IV
