Another option for the Japs is the Soko Sagyo Ki.

Its an engineering vehicle strictly speaking, but it could be used as an APC and was equipped with flamethrowers, could be a cool duel event for the japanese and germans, the germans getting ofc the 251 with flame projectors.

ah I misunderstood, I thought you meant both were Japanese and you were asking for soviet suggestions

I mean the Su-57/T48 works for both the Soviets and the US/UK since all operated it.

The only issue with it and the M3 GMC, is that its gun is far more AT than the stummel. A solution there is only offering HE round or very limited AT rounds.
