Japan unbalanced

Good morning,
I started playing Japan. I am at 30% victory by being in the top 5 of my team in each game. The guns are average, the tanks bad, the planes mediocre.
The Americans are equipped with machine guns, anti-tanks and more efficient rifles. The level gap is significant and the rare victories are achieved hard. Conversely, the Americans are crushing us effortlessly.
I just wanted to remind the developers that the Japanese kicked the ass of half of Pacific Asia with a blitzkrieg worthy of German troops from 1941 to 1943.
So at the bottom BR, Japan should have the advantage given the American and British defeats.
Instead, I encounter Shermans in BR1s while my anti-tanks struggle to get through their basic light tank. I remind you that the M4s simply did not participate in the first Pacific campaigns.
Same phenomenon for aviation, machine guns, Bazooka etc…

Regarding the game, players will just abandon the Japanese campaign in the long term.

This game is still a hell of a historical joke.

… because the opposition wasn’t particularly advanced as japan?

and guess who stopped them.

said opposition with the help of Allied forces ( Commonwealth + USA )

so…

you might wanna reconsider such colorful takes.

except… there isn’t a time frame in enlisted.

it’s not an historical accurate game.

because if that would be the case, honey, half of the japanese tech tree wouldn’t even exist, and you’d be stuck with just rifles.

there wouldn’t be any protos, any experimental rifles, much less actual tanks.
( practically, half if not more the whole japanese tech tree that we’ve got )

incorrect.

japanese planes might be sluggish, but along side anti tank weapons are your best tools to destroy americans tanks.

now, there would be an argument regarding the tier IV and V how lacklaster it is for japan.

and i wouldn’t disagree.

it should have been thought out better and ahead of the merge.

but as they say it is what it is.

from what i noticed, the problems with japan is the playerbase.

not many builds rallies, and american players tend to stack more opposed to the japanese.

but… it wouldn’t too hard to deal with what you face if you would actually try to do something about it.

can’t always expect the others to do all the work unfortunately.
teammates are just enemies with a blue triangle.

well yes. considering it wasn’t meant to be one after the alpha.

Sounds like I would imagine Japan tbh.

But not because of equipment and also, we dont have navy units.

Nonsense. Japan has exceptional smgs on BRs 2-4. And that’s basically the main thing you need in this game until you lay your hands on ARs

Nope
Their biggest chance was unpredictibility.
None of the western forces anticipated their move.
France britain and holland were distracted by germans and us industry wast ready for any war. Bunch of undertrained Australian teenagers were enough to so stop them at kokoda track

Well, the issue is that there are not many people playing Japan compared to the huge number of player choosing the western allies. Japan is the only faction I did not really played before the merge, and I decided to start grinding them fairly recently. And the games at low BR are quite rough. There are a lot of US players getting downtier to low BR thus making it difficult most of the time (especially shermans). Japanese equipment is not bad, but player imbalance is strong with this one.

Japan already sucks because you will only face US on same three four maps (and Pacific maps suck a lot).

Japan is the easiest faction to play

BR 4, yes. From BR 1 not really…

That would be true like 4 weeks ago now saying Japan is the easiest faction to play for is nothing but a joke.

Yeah. Those were European colonies and small nations here and there. Once they attacked the US they were handed L’s left and right. Even their victories were extremely costly and entirely lopsided. Stuff like Wake Island

BUT, I agree that it takes a LOT for Japs to do much of anything against the US, and you probably need a bit of help in that department
Funnily enough, your “Sherman in Pacific” problem wouldn’t exist if the playerbase accepted the Preferred Map system instead. But, the playerbase chose historical inaccuracy and here we are

All your other factions have a double of kills over deaths, except for Japan 7k/5k. That’s prove enough that Japan is not easy to play.

I love playing Japan faction
yes there are good and bad days,
but overall, japan, when they have there dedicated players on, look out

Where the hell is Japan unbalanced right now coming from? I actually make an effort to avoid those crazy BR IV stacks. And to do that, I play BR V, because Germany is pretty braindead right now. Of course, you play lower-tier Japan; it’s a clown show. But any higher, it does get tolerable.

Nothing but Arisakas, 3 LMGs, and an Anti-Tank toilet plunger!

Ah yes preffered map system, yeah gib federov in moscow when germans only have mp 40 at best yeah good system overall, nothing can go wrong with it
And tanks where they were hmmm, delicious…almost half of prefered maps for tanks were utter idiotic and non-historical, but yeah marge is bad cuz non-historical
I once again ask for fedorov in moscow while germans have mp 40

Its just a population imbalance. USA and USSR are currently massively overpopulated. Unless that is fixed, there will be tons of other “problems” popping up

Japan isnt that hard even with BR1-2. Fact you will face the same enemy as in BR3-4. Allied use mostly BR3 stuff, because nobody makes an US BR4 setup. So as Jap you dont have to care about BR. Use what you have. Tanks are no game changer in Pacifik because of the terrain. But if you want to play tanks, wait for Ho-I. A6M2 & B5N2 are good planes in the right hand. Slow but with much better turn rate than Allied opponents. If you get in trouble, make use of it and try to get near to your carrier. AA will do the rest and you can land for repair. I always feel satisfied if a P38 tries to dogfight me in an A6M2. But always watch your neck and the kill list for rocket kills. Typ2a is the best smg in low BR, nearly now recoil and good sights. Go for it as soon as you can Lmg Typ 97 with its scope can be very nasty. I still prefer it over other Lmg. Use shortest burst on distance and hipfire in C&C.

OBVIOUSLY, it would have required tweaking you dolt

Okay, so we’re doing a Japanese campaign where the Allies dominate low BR and dominate high BR.

Manila, the Philippines, Wake Island, the failure of the British matador plan, the weakness of US equipment during these operations never existed. Mac Arthur certainly went on vacation to Australia because the humidity no longer suited him.

The game is not intended to be historical?

Perfect, in this case it needs to be rebalanced.

It is not normal for nation A to lose 10% of tickets for a CAP when nation B loses 50% in the majority of games.

So go create a new account and play low Japanese BR1 (without the advantages of your previous grind) and show me that you can exceed 50% wins over 20 games.

Good luck
