Japan Tanks

Alright I Know this ain’t historically accurate, but what if you had a event for Japan, allowing players to receive Heavy Tank No. 6?

If it’s going to be event vehicle, I don’t mind it. But I definitely do not want tiger to be in any other tech tree than German one.

The heavy tank no 6 never made it to japanese. It would be totally unnecessary and lazy to add it.

My disappointment would be immeasurable and my day would be ruined.

I hate fantasy stuff that wasn’t actually used.

You are acting like pacific isn’t 80% fantasy already, lolm

Event or money shouldnt give better tanks that we have in progression.

I don’t like it as a limited event reward. The “strongest” of each thing should be available to all players, premium event rewards shouldn’t outclass other gear.
Paratroopers already have this problem. They are a game changing unit, all players should have access to them imo.

I didn’t say I don’t hate that

Tiger is currently BR5, so it’s definitely not going to happen any time soon.

And we really do not have much informations about BR5 Japanese ground vehicles.
All we know they’ve planned to add Ho Ri. But the feedback was pretty negative, so they could reconsider it.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they eventually add HT #6 to the tech tree. But that’s something I definitely wouldn’t like.

What about Pacific is Fantasy?

Basically any equipment thats 44+ on maps which are 42/43.

Very large numbers of prototypes/rare equipment on Japanese side.
Crusaders/A13/Grants and so.

But don’t get me wrong, I really do not mind it.

Anachronism suck, I agree but when they eventually add late war maps it will make more sense. I also hste seeing tunisia shut in pacific but thats a seperste problem rn.

To be fair, Grants and Lees were in Burma but yeah, not on the islands. My stance is so long as the devs stay consistent about their historical inaccuracy and keep behind the line in the sand that they drew (if it existed by September 2, 1945 we can add it), then it’s fine. Any line other than pure and complete historical accuracy is arbitrary and pure historical accuracy would make for a terrible game, so as long as they stay consistent to the arbitrary line they have drawn, I can’t really ask for more.

That’s cool, I didn’t know that.

How about to use common sense, dont try to force a country which cannot compete in any meaningfull shape or form at br 5 and call it a f…ng day ?

When palm trees stop speaking Japanese and start speaking in German…

While I do like the Idea of having HT#6 in game I would like it in tech tree I mean it doesn’t matter if it comes as even since its going to struggle to pen superpershing unless you aim at weaksqpot.
But if you don’t care about HA we could also add CHI-RI with 88MM gun as event or CHI-SE (if devs are not to lazy to model these tanks I don’t think both are hard to model chi-ri with 88 mm is a chi-ri with only difference being it having a 88 mm cannon and not having autoloader though there are clams that its real and there are some that say its not simple thing why that happened was the only CHI-RI that was built was without a cannon and the turret was large so Americans thinking that Japanese might have been trying to fit it with 88 mm gun and Japanese had a 88 mm gun with AP shells (type 99 AA gun) any how most likely 88 mm wasn’t even considered cuase large turret of CHI-RI was because of auto loader ; and CHI-se being a tank only mentioned in document no picture available or even sketch it was meant to use Ho-ri’s cannon and Chi-Ri’s chassis as a base to make a ultimate medium tank )

Also heavy tanks of Japan which we have sketches and a photo of though again, the laziness of devs might stop them from adding this

this photograph was taken around Kotoh Fortress in Manchuria, 1945. After the O-I project was ended in 1943, Japan continued another project with an improvised heavy design. Little information is known however by the end of the war the tank had been disassembled and the turret was used as a stationary mount for the fortress protecting the mainland. Soviet troops after taking the fort took notes and blasted the remains of the tank along with the other bunkers and heavy guns.
from this alone we can assume O-I was completed and Japan went on to design and test a new Heavy tank

eh i always said that tank that technically never seen action shouldnt be here but then i found out warthunder have it so sure whatever im not gonna be that happy but not gonna be that mad either

It’s not that deep bro. It’s just a idea
