Japan Panzerschreck Clarity

This game is not 201% historically accurate, but I like and appreciate just a little integrity.

It is true that Japan did attempt to receive some military support from Germany. I can tolerate some German content being given to Japan. It’s sort of like the US and UK lend lease to the Soviet Union, although the USSR did receive and use the support, but still.

I can tolerate Japan receiving the Panzerschreck, if there is legitimate proof.

We know for a fact that Japan did buy a Tiger I and Stgs. They may have never received them, but we know at least they bought them. So they can be allowed for plausibility.

But I have yet to find any proof Japan received a Panzerschreck, or even just the research of it.

So devs, please tell us your proof and evidence. On what grounds did you give Japan the Panzerschreck. If there is legitimate proof then the Panzerschreck may be welcomed with uneasy arms.

But just giving Japan a Panzerschreck jus becuz is lazy. Even prototype weapons and vehicles have more integrity

It’s being introduced for balance purposes to keep the whiners from crying for more nerfs. It’s a game, not a history class… So forget about the “historically accurate” nonsense.

I don’t understand at all why they didn’t just give to one of those Japanese AT lauchers an unhistorical buff to penetration values.

As if having two BR2 AT launchers would make sense.

And it would be a lot less immersion breaking than ofenrohr.

Without google, how many people would even know what the historical penetration values of those AT launchers are? Not many.

Literally for years bazookas had wrong penetration values and few people complained about it.

I’m still so irritated that they came to the conclusion that giving an oferohr to Japanese is the best solution.

Personally, I still think that Ji-Te Dan would have been a better solution because even if the penetration is just estimated it remains more legitimate. I would have also liked to have the 90mm version for the Type 4…

Literally any solution would be better than lazily copy pasting Ofenrohr for the second time. And this time even to theater it has no place to be at all.

Btw it’s not like Japanese desperately needed better AT launcher anyway.

Their current AT launchers were able to penetrate every American tank to front plate except for two tanks (/four - 2 tanks with both having 2 variants): jumbo and pershing.

I have no clue why they’re even adding heavily armoured tanks to the game. If they’re going to immediately then make their armor completely irrelevant with garbage decisions like this. Like what’s the point

And if I had to complain about anything it’s the absence of AR, and the fact that they have no usable high BR attacker.

acording to a web in russian (when I am at home I share) they said about an american comission who discover a possible delivery of mp40s and the panzershrek, since that I am trying find that documents, edit, you can see the web I mean who spoke of it

They bailed out on historical accuracy ages ago.

Real talk.

The only possible AR could be a Stg and maybe their wooden bullet training MGs if the rumors of being put into service are true (I’m arguing the wood MG could be considered an AR since a wooden bullet doesn’t have the range and damage of a live bullet so its sort of like an intermediary)

Also there’s a supposed captured M1 Carbine that was turned automatic

it’s not the only conversion:

Just wait till they roll out Godzilla.
