Japan is in dire need of a high BR anti-tank weapon

Japan only has anti-tank weapons up to BR2. This becomes extremely inadequate at BR5 when most other countries have access to AT weapons with roughly twice the penetration power of Japan’s current weapons.

There appears to be a 105mm recoilless rifle used by Japan, although I cannot find photos of it on the English speaking internet.

No other faction has access to lunge mine with 180mm pene.

But I agree Japan needs better AT launcher.

Sure, those are good, but they require you to be literally touching the tank, and that’s not so practical if the tank has infantry around it or inside the grey zone

except that still requires some degree of aiming on a launcher with no sights, whereas the american panzershreck can pretty much just lolpen every JP tank except the ho-ri

Ok? Should’ve made a toob with sights. Hard to get proper elevation with the M9 cause there’s no ranging etches yet you don’t hear me complaining

There’s also a 9cm Type 4 rocket and a rifle grenade for the Japanese AT gun

I checked Killerwolf1024 s post and I found a gem for tier 5 AT so tier 3 AT will be 9cm type 4 rocket launcher the one you mentioned

and for tier/BR 5
-Type 97 with Ji-Te Dan 200mm(estimated) theoretically able to pierce an estimated 250mm of Armor)

It must be a hollow charge grenade with a rod, that was inserted to the barrel of the Type 97 AT rifle. Fired by a blank or better-propelling cartridge without a bullet.
This technique is well known for rifle grenades and German rod shells for several artillery pieces ( Stielgranaten ).

There’s also a recoilless launcher with an 81mm shaped charge too. I’m having trouble finding the 105mm which I swear I remember seeing someone post about some time ago but I’m having trouble finding it.

The M9’s sight is infinitely better, not since it’s good but since the type 5 doesn’t have a sight at all.
Tho I will say the M9’s sight isn’t the worst.

Hasnt stoped the devs from giving the type 97 ATR to infantry XD
Even though calling it an ATR is already not correct as it is more like a small scale AT gun.

So what? This thing is way bigger than it.
Moreover the type 97 at least looks carriable by its design.
The 105mm recoilless rifle is basically like an artillery on a carriage.
