At least not against Japan. I played a match of BR II Allies today and I completely stomped Japan. Although, I feel like any BR where there more actual players than AI is a strong BR for that faction. (cough cough BR II Japan). I think BR III and BR V has the most players still.
Possibly. Still doesn’t solve the issue 50% of the team was AI. Don’t know why half the team would quit on invasion. It wasn’t even Gavutu (easily the worst Japan map).
Pre-merge, I played about 300 games with the Germans and I think 68 with the Allies. After the merge, I played over 1,400 Allied games before I started my German factions. I did this because I was tired of losing, and only had a w/l percentage in the mid 30’s at that point, playing almost all level two. So, since I was getting butt slammed nightly by the Germans, I joined, and my win/loss percentage rose. So, in the past year and a half, I have played over 2,000 German games and 400 or so Allies, but I will play Allies a game here or there, and if I win, keep playing till I start losing, which at one point a few months ago won about 21 of 25 level three matches. Lately, I am winning most with Japanese or Soviets. But I switch around now. BTW, I was at 55% with the Allies and about 50 or 55 of those 1,963 games were April event losses which I never played the Allies, but event losses were tagged to the Allies, so really the w/l % is meaningless anymore.
after your team deserted yes.
Ask yourself: Would you want to join a losing side in an ongoing battle in which 1-3 points were lost?
Not many would like that why we don’t fill up lobbies mid-game.
There’s an exception, like Vonouha said, if ppl desert pre-game or just in the beginning, they can be replaced.
Weird, I usually have fun with Japanese battles.
Not many deserters at all.
In fact, my win rate is the highest with Japan.
I have finished all TT in the game.
Recently (1-2 months ago) I played Japan BR 3 and got 11 wins in a row (to get the achievement).
I play Japan mostly at BR 5 and usually the enemy team sucks more that us.
I did notice with Japan, the time of day that I play matters (dont play when Japan is sleeping perhaps…I dunno).
Anyway, did not notice many bots/deserters at all.
USA players are always clowning around and there are plenty of players with br1-2 weapons even at at br5. I feel a dread every time i decide to play as western allies
Correction, every time you decide to play against the Western Allies. Due to the premiums sale going on, it seems literally everyone has a 7.63 Thompson. It should ideally be uptiered, as it’s too much for the Japanese and Germans in BR II.
cause they were. it was 9v10 from start and then 4 people quit and werent replaced with another human player. also you had 2 console players that had worse performance than bots(4th player in your team is a bot). btw it is actually miracle that with only 3 useful players you managed to fight against 10 human players for more than 30 minutes.
Well I dunno about that now, tbf I was playing BR 3, but my join any nation feature kept feeding me into the allies, occasionally germany, so I dont know if thats entirely true, that or the system which is meant to feed you into the more undermanned faction is actually feeding you into the most manned faction.
I doubt it. If Japan is the most manned faction, and it has 5 AI bots in a match (or more, if you saw my other match I had), then how bad are the other factions doing?
I dunno what to tell you except thats what happens, now maybe its because of time zones, and Japan is more popular in EU/NA timezones, but in my experience, Japan is rarely struggling for players.
Not to demean you, because all sides just suffer from absolutely dogshit teams at times.
Yeah, sadly its be asked for many times, myself included, I think it should be made more interactive and should play out in a rather cinematic fashion similar to the CoD WaW, I mean we all remember the Stalingrad tutorial there.
