I don’t play much Normandy but I’ve just unlocked Ju-188 A-2 for the Germans.
And suddenly I already have 3 squad points for upgrades despite not flying the plane at all
Then I remember the Even Fight event and the time where Darkflow (probably by mistake because they’re not that nice) allowed background squads progression accumulation even if you didn’t have the squad unlocked, and I flew Ju-188 then.
So, nice!
In addition, realized I had a special version of the plane from some old event as well:
As such, a fully upgraded plane with a gunner from the start.
Double nice.

That is a nice surprise indeed.
I’ve been playing lately some battles in Normandy and it seems that gunners on Ju 188 are not shooting again, well only the one in the front shoots from time to time but all other gunners are silent, so whenever there is an enemy aircraft behind you, you are just a practice target.
Idk, they do give generous rewards for participating in events. Just look at the whole paratrooper meta right now lol
You mean you think they did the shadow squads progression on purpose?
Well, then they changed their mind in the second iteration of Even Fight 
I got a FW-189 Uhu from an event years ago I don’t have the crew for in Moscow. After the merge I’ll fly it for the first time.
