We need to be able to use keybord and mouse in ps4 just like war thunder, every time i play against a pc player its a bloodbath. I really hope you do it, its just more fun

Are you aware that you can turn off crossplay with PC in the options? (I really wish this were the default for new players!)

Iā€™m an xbox player myself and I really donā€™t want to see M&K come to consoles.

These are quotes from the times Iā€™ve posted before.

As always (because this seems to be a often repeated topic), that will be a big NO from me. I play on xbox. I usually turn off PC crossplay, though not always. Mouse & Keyboard on console is not good for the future of console play, for various reasons. The largest of which is fair play amongst other console players.

You say you want to have a chance against PC players, so you want PC controls. Then go play on a PC. If you want to play on console, against other console players, turn off PC crossplay. Having the advantage of controls is one of the primary reasons that console players have the option to turn off the crossplay. Introducing it will give advantage over other console players, simply bypassing the crossplay disable.

The thing is, if a person is on console, it may be because:

  1. Thatā€™s what they prefer.
  2. They canā€™t afford fancy PCs or setups to improve their play.
  3. In the case of one of my good buddies, he lost several fingers on his left hand. He can operate a controller just fine, and work with the limitations that it has against players with the same controls. However, against PC controls (M&K) he doesnā€™t stand a chance. Its not like he can use a keyboard either. So he sticks to console.

So M&K on consoles will be an absolute NO from me, and all the guys I play with.

As far as aim sensitivity goes, there needs to be some adjustment options on console. Iā€™ve noted as much in posts prior.

Iā€™ve said it before and Iā€™ll say it again. Do NOT put mouse and keyboard on console!
If you wish to play with mouse and keyboard, go play on PC.

WHY?
There are quite a few players, (especially on Enlisted) that have physical disabilities such as missing fingers that donā€™t allow them to operate mouse and keyboard controls. They CAN however, operate a controller. They deserve to be able to play in a FAIR environment.

PC crossplay can be disabled from the console side BECAUSE mouse and keyboard is such a huge advantage. While the theory of bringing it to console makes console players potentially more competitive against PC players, it COMPLETLEY alienates the handicapped playerbase, that with the current system can turn off the crossplay and play in a fair and even environment.

I bet there are a LOT of console players who simply wonā€™t play this game due to lack of mouse and keyboard support. My kids play FPS games on console with mouse and keyboard as they canā€™t afford gaming PCā€™s.

I think that some people who have learned to play fairly well with controller just donā€™t want to have to learn to play with mouse and keyboard. What a world to play in a stack and filter out PC players!

I just want pc to have the same option to turn crossplay off, I donā€™t mind shooting bots.

I think playing on console, like I do is tricky but can be mastered without M&K, I play cross play with clan every day, I come top, middle or whatever on leaderboard, this game is about fun, but twitch shooting leave that for other gamesā€¦

You can of course only play with console players but to me that isnā€™t as funā€¦ you get sweats on console and PC, but itā€™s not M&K that dominates trust me.

I think it would be fine to add mouse and keyboard support to console, but only of they switched you into the PC player pool instead of console. M&K gives an unfair advantage over controllers so there should be a way to keep them separated

Every person that argues for controllers in a shooter game is in my mind insane, there is zero reason why you would want to do this.

Crippling everyones ability is balanced, yet why would you want to be crippled to begin with?

Mouse and keyboard should have been the standard for shooters on consoles 20 years ago, instead we have these ā€œelitistsā€ who are too proud about them having mastered the cripple sticks.

Nooo mouse and keyboard would ruin consol play nooooā€¦

because mouse and keyboard are 100% the supperior systems, obviously.

Nobody is arguing that controllers are better, its quite the opposite. The problem is that consoles only come with a controller, and most people donā€™t buy a separate mouse and keyboard. If there was a way to give everyone a mouse and keyboard there wouldnā€™t be an issue. Take it up with Microsoft and Sony.

Does this game support gamepad on the PC version? I want to play with a gamepad but the game does not respond to my Xbox pad at all.
