I tried putting an italian squad in my lineup just to add variety and because i like them but then i realized that on maps that are not tunisia they are hardlocked into german uniforms. You cant even buy italian uniforms again because they are gone.
Since my BR is too high i can never play on Tunisia plus, is it really that bad to have them keep the uniforms you buy regardless of scenario
Obviously they shouldn’t wear sand colored shorts in Ardennes.
However, we do need actual Italian uniforms to be added for Europe now.
I am actually fine with them keeping their uniforms, the game is already wacky as it is so historical accuracy is not that big of a deal to me. What i am trying to say is that once you go above the br for tunisia there is no point in keeping italian squads anymore other than their guns i guess

doesn’t help either that most of " good " italian weapons are in br 4.
which, i do agree that italian uniforms should appear despite the enivorement.
i mean, HA has died along time ago anyway
( but of course, the exception should be, they stay on the european and eastern front rather than ending up fighting the americans over the pacific. that would be… too much imo. which i know that’s not the case as of yet, but, you never know

with how messy the unform splits are, id almost say forget splitting the uniforms amongest the campaigns…just chuck them all in one pool (yes that has its own problems like shorts in snow)

Of course i would like this uniforms but how likely is this to happen? Its easier for them just to flip the switch on the clothing catalogue
Well untill we get them it’s still better to have winter clothes but German, e.g. in Ardennes.
Than Italian but tropical there.
And I believe Italy’s European uniforms already exist on some of its premium squads.
It’s just that the Devs don’t care/are lazy
Sorry for reviving old thread but i got some news for you and anybody else who comes across this.
The san marco premium squad they sell does earn the rights to spawn with their italian uniforms on any campaign. This also includes their available customization with a bunch of italian uniforms so yes you can actually have an italian squad in normandy
I have to say that i feel like the devs do listen to criticism when it comes to this game because of several reasons. Also yes it does suck that some things that should seem obvious seemingly fly over their heads but often this is because its niche requests that not many people are interested on like the italian squads thing
