It would be awesome to have the Folgore division as the axis paratroopers in the Tunisia campaign, they were élite soldiers

Event squads are, unfortunately, a double edged sword. Since their composition and main weaponry can’t be changed, it’s ultimately Devs’ choices that make or break an event squad.
I’d much rather wait for a regular Italian paratroopers squad, than get one earlier in an event but neutered by questionable choices of loadout.

Once italy get separeted from germany get everything other full faction have, same the brits, it’s a matter of time

Seeing how the split happened in War Thunder, any Italian addition to Germany now would later have to be unlocked AGAIN from scratch in the Italian tree…

Probably if the merge dont separate them, italy become a sub tree or disappear from the game before get reintroduced as full faction with only the italian premium squad remain usable
same discussion is for the brits with the only difference that in case of the momentary removal from the game f2p player can still use event commowealth squad withaut buy premiums
the paracadutisti could definetly be a great addition
they could also have a paracadutisti motorcycle

Italy has a lot of paratroopers that can be added both for the tech tree and for events or premium
for examples
Libyan paratroopers
Carabinieri paratroopers
co-belligerent Folgore
and many others

Italy was at war throughout the war. Since 1943 as Mussolini’s Social Republic. More or less all important weapons were produced by Italy itself or are confirmed to have been obtained from the Axis allies. For example, originally Polish anti-tank rifles from Germany or later Panzershreck also from Germany. Against allied tanks, they can mainly deploy domestic tank destroyers or P26, Pz. IV and Stug. Italy had enough infantry rifles, submachine guns and pistols. Including heavy and anti-aircraft machine guns. Mortars or guns. Everything needed for a functional faction in Italy has been available throughout history. For that reason, I think this country deserves its own faction for sure.
