Italian(and British) specific equipment

So, it’s basically set in stone that the British and Italians will be rolled into the US and Germany trees, regardless how you feel about it this will be how it is at launch

But that leaves one question on my, and probably afew others minds…what about the Italian and British unique equipment?

In Tunisia both factions have their own misc gear that is entirely unique from German and American counterparts, I’m talking Axes, Knives, Bags, Medkits, Toolboxes, Swords(This one especially we’ll come back to it soon), and even mines

Which brings up an important question, what will happen to this equipment when the merge comes? Say I had 10 Italian axes post merge and the merge comes, do those stay as Italian axes and can I buy more? Or do they become exclusive similar to the soon to be removed Mannlicher/MP717 rifles?

Doubly so with swords! These are rare event items, so what will happen to them? Will you be able to get more Italian swords after the merge or will they be replaced by the German counterparts when events come?

Iirc they also want to put Italy in Africa only so I dont know how that will work.

Not entirely, they keep their squad,veichle and weapon, but in game they count as german and us squad, this make nice meme like premium maroccan in pacific and italian in berlin, but at least better than nothing in the end

I think they will just be added as extra gear to unlock. So both factions would have basically 6 melee weapons you can unlock

I feel like GB and Italy would have enough gear to make their own trees. But assuming they do get merged; I’d hope they make gear of both nations available, or at least change gear cosmetically based on the squad in which it is equipped. Swords should always stay unique though.

I think italy should be able to fight in all eastern front maps.
They send 235 k soldier. Nearly equivalent of 5 field armies.
If they dont have enough high tier weapons and tanks solution is simple.
Add some german ones to their tree.
They shared technology and guns in real war actually.

Or they could work just like Japan soo that they fight only on low-mid BR.
