Thanks for all this information. Appreciate it. :+1:

I was trying to get footage of Ki-102 otsu to show off its capabilities but this was the second time in the match cucks had to go for my kill.

Fw-190A-1 is the most agile 190 of all the Antons.

Well they did build it and I’m pretty sure tested it as well. Still ofc no actual usage ever but not just a paper gun either, just a matter of no surviving images of the gun in its 6.5 config (even if there are some rumors, the artist mentioned someone in the know but no luck so far).

If you want to know more, @Debayan001 already linked the post (tho it only sends me to the main topic instead of my comment ) Japan Small Arms Balancing Discussion Thread - #66 by Killerwolf1024 here and scroll down to the sources, there’s an image that makes it very likely the early 8mm Model 2s were just converted from the 6.5 ones.

My bad. I will use this updated link from here onwards.:+1:

Only 3 bombs. D4Y3 has 3 250kg bombs. Ki-67 is not needed

I see.

Ki-67 can carry 15x 50kg or 8x 100kg which i think is better than 3x 250kg.
Furthermore Ki-67’s had also wing pylons for more bombs.

Power of B7A2
Now remember this thing is a dive bomber / torpedo bomber XD

What better way to show it off than giving XP-50 premium scrub, some rabies
You can even dogfight with spitfires to a great extent as well.

The US doesn’t have medium infantry mortars. They only have light infantry mortars, just like the Japanese.

I see. Thanks for the heads up. Then atleast the US and Japan will be equal in this regard if the latter gets this heavy mortar.

Still not needed. We have a bunch of good attacker/dive bomber/light bomber options that we can exhaust before we get to medium bombers. I know youre on this crusade to give Japan medium bombers, but think of the door this will open for other nations. They have better mediums with bigger bombs. Basically youre just gonna cause more power creep

There is already medium bomber in game like the JU188. Moreover, USSR is going to get TU-2S in this update. The door was already opened long time ago.

Its not like dev can’t limit the number of bomb if they add them. Many planes in Enlisted can actually carry more bombs in War Thunder.

The Ju-188 is not really a medium bomber. Its a Schnellbomber or Highspeed bomber, like a Mosquito or Ki-48.

It is a carrier-based aircraft, so it needs to be launched from an aircraft carrier, which may make it less efficient than aircraft that can be deployed from the air.

Funny logic, the speed has nothing to do with its is medium or heavy bomber or not, the bombload and the range are the one that matters.

Well, this should be the first idea I proposed.
My view is similar to FW190A8 or BF110, but it is an attack version to fill the gap that Japan currently has no air-deployed attack aircraft.
Her rocket charge is similar to WG21, but the ballistics are better. As a supplement, she can only carry two rockets compared to BF110, but has a faster speed and better air combat capabilities.
I think this is a reasonable strength, with worse ground capabilities but stronger air capabilities, because Japan needs more air defense forces to resist the suppression of P47 or P51 on the ground
