It is recommended to change the fighter to the third-person view of War Thunder mode, or restore the fighter’s damage. I don’t understand the point of selling so many planes without bombs for a fee. It is difficult to use cannons to inflict damage and threats to ground infantry when the aircraft is in first person. I feel like you could give some gameplay concessions and try changing it to 3rd person.

I don’t understand if Mr. Anton deliberately put sand in the cannon, so that in War Thunder, the amount of ammo that can smash enemy planes can only tickle the enemy in enlisted.

Third person is put of the question, as everything being in first person is part of the core gameplay. For the fighters without bombs or rockets, some of them aren’t modeled with any bombs in War Thunder like the Spitfire Mk V, and since the game imports models from WT, these planes cannot be changed. The ammo in planes against other planes is ok, but it need to be fired effectively at point blank to deal any real damage.

When did they ever say they were incapable of changing the armaments on aircraft? They have changed the loadout of several aircraft already.

Unless there exists some evidence, I think this is just another forum rumor; like how people used to insist that the British weapons in Normandy were just there for testing and they’d be replaced after Tunisia was released.

Oh no they never said that, but they import models from War Thunder, so adding bombs to planes that doesn’t have them in WT or adding a loadout that isn’t there already will be difficult. Furthermore, some planes like the Spitfire Mk V just straight up don’t have any bomb carrying capabilities.

don’t forget that they modify the speed and armor of the tanks to balance them, it wouldn’t surprise me if some planes were armored a bit more

That’s quite possible too.

The assets all exist already, it’s only a matter of assembling them in the configuration they want. It’s a process that would take a few hours including testing, a bathroom break, checking in on your social media, and chatting with colleagues for a bit.

Since they have already changed the loadout on planes in the game, we can safely assume that it’s well within their capability to add ordinance to a plane of they so desired.

For aircraft that doesn’t have any capacity for ground attack ordinance its a different issue entirely, and I agree their hands are tied. Of course there are so many aircraft variants from wwii that they have their pick.

I think it’s fair to guess the reason bombs are so limited in Tunisia is a design choice, and likely a response to the regular complaints in the forums about bombers in other campaigns.

Third person plane, NO. I enjoy looking at the gorgeous planes while flying as much as anyone, But that is what war thunder is for. Forced to fly from first person is a good aspect to Enlisted and I wouldn’t change it at all.

I want the planes to have more features from Warthunder
• Gun convergence
• Ammunition belts
• Different ordinance loadouts
• Tail gunners
• Damage models the same as Warthunder. Current Damage model isnt fun
• Paratrooper Transports. (This is already in game in the Form of ejecting your squad from JU 88). I just want a proper Paratrooper squad based around it (Heroes and Generals style)

The potential is there and all the work is mostly done in warthunder! I am hoping!

I would already be happy with a proper War-Thunder-like damage model. What we currently have is simply ridiculous. The arcadish equivalent to a soldier requiring 20 hits from a machine gun in order to finally die.

That really depends on the size cartridge your plane is firing. If they’re 7.26mm, yeah, it’s going to take a few to smash through whatever you’re shooting. But it’s also depending what you’re aiming at. If you’re hitting the fuselage, it’s going to take a long time no matter what you’re firing. If you’re scoped in on an engine, well… 7.26mm is still going to take a while, but you’re going to flame that engine much quicker than you would trying to saw the plane in half.
