Very ideal as a BR VI campaign.
In addition, the year extends to 1953, so by adding Su-9 to the Soviet, Jet can be added to every Faction.
I can’t stand the thought of using Su-9 and Shooting Star, Me-262, and Kikka.

The community made it clear time and time again that they dont want this game to expand past ww2 and even if that happened, there must be a hardlock between BR5 and BR6!

The reason is simple, they are going to (probably) add jets to the game. If the soviets don’t get one, they are gonna cry. The issue is there is no soviet jet from ww2 not even a single prototype, all of them are postwar.
So they decided to give them the SU-9 because they don’t really care about historical stuff anymore.

I quit war thunder exactly because I have to fight AVFs from the 70s with my WW2 tank.
Im not a strict HA guy, I would love some alternative campaigns such as Sealion, invasion of Japan ect…
I would even accept some post war stuff if it was properly locked to alternative campaigns that have their own MM, but lets be honest that if the game moves past ww2 we will see nightmares like Jagdtiger vs T-80 in Vietnam.

There is, the fact is its not complete essentially it never got the jet engines and by 1944 the project was deemed not necessary I’ve suggested it bunch of time and brought it up in few topic but modeling it would be probably hard plus you have to fine tune its performance and most important reason why it will never be in enlisted is because its not on WT .
Anyway the plane im talking about is plane number 302 ,had 4 , 20mm cannon and could get 2 bombs .

Well yeah. The ONLY way moving forward works is if each war is its own entirely separate thing. I’ve advocated for making different wars the new campaigns. You can only select to partake in one war. This would also allow future wars to restart at a BR I and have its own I-V and be less confusing for new players, on top of being readily accessible upon first starting the game
And most importantly of all
HARD, 100% SEPARATION

rather than Korea I would prefer to see a BR6 set in Operation UNTHINKABLE it would be great to lighten BR5 a bit and have a BR excuse where to put all the prototypes/post45 without polluting WW2 and it would give the factions new opponents to vary
Operation Unthinkable in which direction though? There were 2 named the same thing, with them being exactly the same except who the aggressor was
I would be 100% okay with that.
But there still might be a few issues and things people might complain about such as:
- distribution of new content
- Battlepass (will there be two seperate or just one with rewards for both WW2 and -insert post WW2 here-)
- events (again, will they be seperate?)
- custom games
