Is this the most expensive game in the world?

I have hundreds of hours of gametime in recent weeks, so i have put the time and effort in to level up organically

But in the last two months, on ONE campaign alone, i have spent about 80 euros

What has that gotten me? maximum upgrades on 3 of the units, some extra ammo, full modifications ona couple of rifles.

These modifications are for INDIVIDUAL SOLDIERS. so if you go to all the hassle to max upgrade a gun, you need to do it ALL OVER AGAIN for the next soldier
and that is just ONE UNIT, ONE SOLDIER, FROM ONE CAMPAIGN.

Its a free game, but if you want anything at all, you have to pay so much that over time you are paying way way more than even a top level game at launch.

Its like a casino with flashing lights, the things they use to drag you in with just buy this and it will be great, just roll the dice one more time.

Even when buying another 4.99 500 gold, it got me no more than a bit of upgrades, which allowed me to now move into the upgrades for the weapon i wanted…
which suprise suprise, now that i try to upgrade the weapon i dont have enough weapon orders, and i now need to sell or demolish one of my other weapons i spent a fortune of money and time, on building up

All this and i am only into one campaign.

Its getting ridiculous, i love the game but it feels like a scam, you put so much resources or time into it, and all that gets you is another set of obstacles to overcome…
want this? work your way to earn it hundreds of hours into the game

What does that get you? the ability to then level up, what does that get you? ability to get modifications… what does that get you? ability to then buy more gold to use the modifications, but wait… your out of orders so start again

All this for just one unit!

Sounds like you have more money than common sense, there are other games that are far more expensive and people pay for it that is why this game model is so prevalent, I generally on pay for premium time and battlepass because of the bonuses and the extra’s you get with battlepass. I do occasionally buy a premium squad because of what’s in it, I have bought gold to upgrade certain squads quicker but I usually just grind them. It sounds like you are not getting the pay to win you hoped for, for the most part this game is far from pay to win as the average totally free player can do just as good as someone with all the premium stuff.

dont get me wrong i am not looking for a quick fix but
to get anything decent, even loads of playing time doesnt get you it
you need to buy passes, gold etc
and even that doesnt get you what you want it just opens another avenue for which
you need to grind pay etc
alll that for just one soldier, from one unit from one campaign

Or you can simply dont care about the “perfect perk equip on all soldier”, give “4/6 star to all weapons or veichle”, “min max” you can simply play and support the studio buying only the battlepass if you want

Hardly the most expensive one, or even the most manipulative one. Getting close to mobile games in those respects, though, and quality to cost ratio is pretty awful. It’s like they are actively trying to give you as little as possible even if you pay.

you have obviously not heard about diablo immortal. you need to spend about 100k $ to max equip your character. and you can choose between 6 classes, with 5 character slots per account. so if you want to max out your account you will need to spend around 500k $.

also you can get all of those with f2p. you dont need to pay to progress, nor you dont need to pay to upgrade your soldiers. just dont use those bronze orders on upgrading for most intermediate weapons and save them for max equipment unlock. also you can get max perk class 1 soldiers (like assaulters 1, rifleman 1 etc. ) and upgrade them to level 5 and you wont really lose much in the way of the perks, but you will save 2-3 times bronze orders.

well i just dismantled all the upgrades on my tank that took me ages to upgrade through needing an insane amount of weapon orders
guess what the refund of it, wont even allowed me more than two modifications on an m3 sub machine gun… im out of orders
even though i had about 25 orders on the tank upgrades which i have just sold!
it gives you about 10 per cent back of what you invest

well i never upgrade before i get -40%. even then i also save weapon/vehicle upgrade orders for 6 star weapons/tanks/planes for final upgrade.

most cost efficient way to grind for bronze order is to get premium account and buy stalingrad. you get 100% premium xp bonus+400% stanlingrad xp bonus. cause bronze orders are earned based on xp earned you will get most bronze orders there.

Not sure where you’re not getting " a lot" for " a lot of play time"… I just save my cards, spend them maybe once every 4-5 games. It seems like your complaint is not getting enough for your money. Could always go play warships where ONE vehicle costs you 90 dollars, MSF or DCS and buy a plane for $140. Hardly the most sheisty F2P out there, not even close. I personally feel what I give up in money gives me a fair return. At the end of the day though, you’re paying for perfection, ie… you’re paying for an edge by having more perks and at some point you decided, It was worth it, you made that choice on your own, they didn’t force you into anything. I have 3 elite soldiers after 174 games which is not a lot of games, I didn’t buy a single one. I only play MAYBE 2 games every few days… more often than not though, I play 1 every few days… Its not hard to get the stuff you want without paying for it except the stuff you have to pay for, that’s a given though as the game must be supported some way right? At the end of the day though, you made the choice to spend money for an advantage and it seems you’re more irritated about not getting enough of an advantage and not so much the money aspect of it. It clearly says what you’re getting, its obvious knowledge that its a gamble… you don’t cash your check and then spend it all on scratch offs to pay your bills do you? No because that wouldn’t make sense… so why buy “scratch offs” to give you an edge and then complain when it doesn’t? lmao

You are kinda wrong about it.

Of course you earn much more XP going Premium Account + Stalingrad Full Access, but it doesn’t give you more bronze orders because of more XP.

With Stalingrad FA your XP is multiplied by x4, but at the same time you need x4 more XP per 1 bronze weapon order (in fact for all kinds of weapon and troops orders), so basically nothing changes in earning bronze orders compared to other campaigns.

that is kinda stupid… thought that xp for earning orders was fixed and that stalingrad was actually worth it cause of that. stalingrad is failed campaign…
