Is this game fair?

A balance like War Thunder, do the Slavs like unfair and unbalanced games so much?

Idk, WT was pretty fair and balanced for me. Skill issue.

I think the main problem with the game is the lack of matchmaking and the terrible progression and lack of flexibility to try new squad compositions and such…the tutorials and store options deliberately deceive free players also, the pay to win is rampant AND the pay to progress is already bad enough…

The game is fair? No for historical reason faction have good and bad equipment so it need adaptability but overcomed this problem is very enjoyable

  1. Bot problem, the bots are some of the worst I have ever seen in a game and since the player base is in the low thousands if we are lucky at this point, lone soldiers can’t save the game without enough players to run it. Bots need to be fixed, period.
  2. Pay to win, just remove it. Pay to progress? Whatever fine keep it, I will grind thru it as a high skill player and just apologize to all the free players who struggle. But rocket tanks and premium ammo on premium vehicles? Extra squad unlocks and squad slots only unlocked thru spending money? In a game with limited vehicle spawns for free players? Nope, that is pay to win, remove it.
  3. Explosive spam, why no explosive damage resistance perk? Why not force planes to go land somewhere? Or why not at least make planes damage friendly units with bombs to start with? Why not put a time limit on planes or tanks to prevent them being spammed by premium accounts? Why no limit on grenades or grenade launcher per squad? Why no limit on number of assault teams? The spam in this game goes hand in hand with the pay to win being abused making the game much worse than it should be.
  4. Progression/Inventory is horrible, making us buy flasks for more weapon order cost than an entire set of tools? Makes zero sense, wasting our time. Added bayonet to the M1Garand? Awesome! Except for all the players who bought them already who know have to buy them all over again because you can’t just update the existing inventories of returning players and put bayonets on their weapons. Constant abuse of free players and not allowing them to more easily move things around and get what they need is just killing game balance. Tunisia is almost entirely pay to win because new players have to wait 9 levels until they get engineers, which are CRUCIAL for being able to win anything. This divides the players into useful and non useful players by design, this isn’t going to encourage new players to grind and get better it is just gonna convince them to leave unless they are a bolt action animal like some of the guys in my clan.

1 to 1 weapon to weapon the game is balanced. imo

nothing the enemy can bring another player cant counter. in what ever campaign.

but, the side with the most geared/high level/stacked players will always win. prety much always.

if both sides have equal teamates with equal gear, the first to leave will prety much result in a clear inbalance right away.

if everyone has early - mid campaign levels the game is fun as hell. if you ever get on a group of players that play with you and everyone has everything unlocked, and you face same groups over and over of players with exact gear as you (pay users with everything or, end geared vs end geared), and no one is fighting for second place on the scorebord is as broken as the game gets. . i dont recommend it to no one .

The game is pretty asymmetrical.

Sorry @Shiivex but my opinion differ on the weapons part (all the rest I agree with)

1 to 1 weapons is vastly different depending on the chosen faction. One will have high powered fast firing tommy gun smg, the other, the same beretta as other campaigns. One faction will get a 71 drum fed smg and the other a joke with 20 bullets.

On that sense, not it isn’t fair. Some factions indeed have advantages over the others.

HOWEVER. There’s something good coming with this: all factions bring DIFFERENT things on the table, it makes it interesting. One faction might have Godly smgs, but pretty meh lmgs, or vehicles.

It varies.

As such it’s important that you find the faction that suits YOUR play style first and foremost, whatever others might say. Remember, you play four YOUR own fun

In Moscow there is a premium tank with high explosive the free version of the tank doesn’t get HE, in Normandy both rocket tanks can’t be unlocked for free players and they are very good at long range spawn killing before you can take them out they do tons of damage, rocket tank is also in Moscow but only premium and only for allies. In Tunisia the premium motorcycles allow you to carry 1-2 extra people which basically means they can get more people into a good position quickly than the free version. The most clear indication of pay to win in the game though is the premium squad slots, when you destroy a Tiger tank and they instantly pull a bomber plane after dying that isn’t something a free player can counter at all…they are forced to die to the premium player with more tactical options. If you pit a free to play player of equal level against a premium player equal level but they have bought all the premium content on that campaign, the premium player will win 10/10 if they are equal skill level, it ruins the balance of the game entirely. It would be like putting two boxers against each other, but one boxer can throw uppercuts and hooks, and the other boxer can’t throw those punches AT ALL. Oh yeah and the reason one boxer has special rules is because he paid the referee to allow him to throw those punches also. That is the competitive model Gaijin has set up, it doesn’t matter that some free player can beat shitty pay to win players and counter their uppercut with just a jab, the point is they pay wall certain tactical change ups and abilities and content but then advertise the game as free to play and pay a bunch of shills to lie and claim the game isn’t pay to win at all…this is the reason people call you a shill and meme on you in the discord posts about the Enlisted forum, because you would rather sit here gas lighting than read a legitimate argument.

Couldn’t give a shit what people state or talk.

Don’t own neither of those premium tanks or care to own.

Cope.

I do agree pay gets more advantages. But I still also agree a free 2 play player is on a nice privilege to play and enjoy the game for literally 0 costs.

OH BTW. I know that discord posts. I have seen them. You should be careful with what people you have accepted on your group

HEAT=High explosive anti tank, I am sorry I didn’t spell out every word and detail correctly is it relevant? Didn’t realize grammar nazis were a thing still…

I agree the balance is totally different depending on what type of weapon and what level they are at in the campaign. You bring up a good point that kind of proves what I was saying earlier about not having squad limits of any kind, being able to spam 3 assault squads with 71 round drum mags with crazy fire rate is most definitely a problem, and when a premium player can do that but also bring engineer team and machine gun team and flamethrower team? Yikes…

Well.

Premium stuff is a different topic entirely. Used to be “fine” (weaker than regular squads) now DarkFlow is going towards pay 2 win premiums.

I agree it’s scummy.

But none of those packages come with talent… I rarely met users spamming Premium assault rifles squads or Premium tanks that are very fantastic at what they do…

Beware of crack heads spamming underpowered but very Chad 9 riflemen premium squads however. Those players are here purely for fun, and usually those thend to play the best…

If you see Volks, Tobruks or Moroccan warriors… Stay on your toes!

Yeah the premium infantry squads are starting to get a bit nuts I agree but it isn’t the main problem, the main problem is the extra slots. Being able to have 6 infantry slots and 3-4 vehicle squads compared to a free player with 3 infantry squads and 1 vehicle squad is just outright pay to win. I can agree there is merit to arguing against the premium infantry squads and vehicles but they aren’t even as obvious a problem. Dark Flow is working with Gaijin so they can be nothing but scummy at this point, Gaijin games if you read this I hope you quit your job and work for a non corrupt anti consumer company.

Not that any of this matters if the servers keep dying and they put out useless updates rather than addressing server issues and actual big problems. Doesn’t help the people they keep choosing (shills) to represent the game prove themselves to be toxic jerks and constantly break the community rules and guidelines but try to false ban and report people all the time. There is a dude spamming the forums who has tried to ban me and my buddy Lomax like 2 or 3 times now and accuses us of all using one computer lmao it is a joke. Guy literally couldn’t believe there were more than 20 people who didn’t want to play with him or talk to him, so he went into denial and started gas lighting and filing reports that we were all just one account running bots lmao…Gaijin has yet to ban that dude from their CBT tester program and he is also a discord moderator go figure…

What the hell that has to do with the game balanced or not?

When people like you are the “chosen testers” by Gaijin and have a certain label, but clearly display small dick energy and toxic behavior it affects the balance of the game…I thought you didn’t care what anyone thought or said anyways? Cope…

Am I? Have you look at the way you interacted with everyone around you on everytopic you entered so far?

Lol.
