My main squad composition is ranked at BR3. Tonight I played 6 games, and ever single one of them was BR5 games. In game chat I ask why this was happening to me. One of the players told me that the game was also skill based. I have not read this anywhere. Does anyone have an answer?? And if not, why am I being put with BR5s all of the time?

I agree, I know that at BR3 you will run into BR5s from time to time. But the last 2 days I have played nothing but BR5. Im not sure whats up.

sometimes it will put you into a lobby with esport ready players and you just watch game playing as some kind of npc character (enemy team could say the same) that can’t shape the pace the match in any way or form and it just ends with you feeling pretty useless

To answer your question, no. There is no skill based matchmaking system. What we have an equipment based matchmaking system.
Will the devs add a skill based matchmaking system? Probably not (but never 0% chance).
There always have been issues with FPS games attempting this and they always had a hard time, even all the way back in the “Golden Era” of Call of Duty, Halo 3, and probably a bit of Battlefield too on the Xbox 360. Hell I don’t play Call of Duty anymore and even I know their current games in the franchise has such a system in place and their main players are complaining on how they just don’t work.
