Actually I’d argue that all the guns you’ve listed are superior or at least on pair with MP40.
Though they are not as iconic.

well, the mp 35 is actually somehow even better.
the zk it’s a portable mg,
and the beretta it’s like an automatic nail gun ( which it’s not necessarely bad. but you must hit headshots )
so, i think there is point to get other smgs as depends the range and your play style.
beside, changing doesn’t hurt. keeps the game refreshing if you are willing to refresh it in the first place.
( perhaps i didn’t mentioned the fnab cuz i don’t personally like it even if fully upgraded. it looked like a wannabe sten / mp 40 gun )

Will not be a thing soon, most likely in ±8 days.
But if you want save resources nevertheless, you can keep using whichever weapons suits you best. It’s not against the law, lol. MP40 is decent cheap weapon.

Feels more like axis version of grease gun. Low fire rate can be sometimes advantage.

Depends on the campaign… in Stalingrad the MP40 is not the main… and the mp717 and the kiraly are better options, but in the rest of campaigns depends really on you but yes the MP40 is very very good

Mp40 has one br, the other smgs have their own, so different tiers.

You can still artificially increase your BR with other equipment to get more experiences for higher BR matches.
All those Smgs are on similar power level, but they need more resources to upgrade (since they’re not 4* but 7* I think)
So yeah, OP is right. You can easily skip them if you’re short on resources and want to save them.

It really just depends on the range that you intend to use it at.
The MP40 is probably the most versatile as once it’s upgraded, its very effective at mid range and decently effective at short.
Most of the others are higher fire rate but less accurate, so they are stronger for the run and gun, in your face type players.
Personally, my favorite is the FNAB. When fully upgraded it’s probably the strongest option for mid-range, but at close range it suffers. I’m always focused more on mid-range combat anyways as I’m usually busy setting support in place (rallies, ammo, sandbags, trenches, etc) for teammates, so the accuracy suits me.

M50 Reising does same dmg, has better recoil due to lower rof and is notable more accurate and all that for being early unlock and cheap.
Thompsons excluding Thompson M1921s are overpriced, overtiered and overglorified MP35s with better dmg.
