Is there any way to get more ammo for my mortar mid-game?

I run out of mortar shells pretty quickly. I first thought that I would go to the resupply point, but then I realized it’s only a thing for vehicles. Is there any way to get more mortar ammo without killing my soldier and waiting to respawn? Or even just a way to increase my ammo capacity?

You can use engineers to build ammo boxes. But resupplying a mortar consumes the whole ammo in the box, keep that in mind.

Also if I’m not mistaken there is a perk in the yellow perk thee that gives your mortarman more ammo. (Don’t confuse yellow soldier perk tree with yellow squad upgrade tree! Those are completely different things.)
