I’m really looking forward to finding out what new weapons will be in the game, within the battle pass of course.
It will probably be postponed to the release date of the major update.
But who knows, maybe for once they will surprise.

If it will be that Swiss Anti material rifle then i will be really disappointed it should be added to the TT and Germany should get some powerful BR3 semi auto as G41 is total crap and VG1-5 is unreliable with low dmg per bullet, slow rof and bad dispersion.

Grind for 10 days to receive AT rifle with 50mm pen instead of 40mm of PTRS-41 
If it’s less than 70mm of pen i won’t even bother playing this season as i could just use Grb-39 with 90mm of pen and actual tnt filler.
If it’s added unchanged it will be the worst BP weapon to date, it can’t even pen T-28E hull or T-50 turret (i’m ignoring it’s hull armor)

Will the major update be released on time?
Well, there it is, scientific proof of the
next update being delayed. 
Impossible the only meant to give Germany the most obscure and unusual things instead of things we need is tech tree unlocks.
And that’s not counting on how they screwed up our gold weapon orders or on how many days we’ve are stuff has been extended for.

My forecast is that it will be delayed.
Solothurn AT rifle is probably 40mm of pen…or 35mm depending on which version…(from a quick google, I didnt verify…i hope at least 40mm)
so About the same as the PTRS 41
AT BR 1 I will still find this fun
*Edit: I dont know what you were testing, but i just gave it a go and it front penned T-50, T-28E (turret), Chaffee (Lower glacius) and Crusader (Front plate) at 110 meters (Killing the turret crew)…A little bit closer for Grant (through 75 slot)
For an AT rifle thats pretty damn good!!!(like the type 97)…Cant wait for it!!! 
Yes it’s a little over 40mm as it can pen side of M3 Grant, however it can’t pen 50mm of T28E frontal armor
Multiple shots and not destroyed so it’s even worse than i expected.
They will put it at BR2 as PTRS-41 is at BR2 i can almost guarantee that, Germany can’t have good things at the right and most fitting BR. If it’s put at BR1 then it’s Dark Gaijin forgetting that PTRS-41 ever was at BR2. 
It can’t frontally pen T-50 as it has 50-60mm of angled effective armor unless you shoot at them from above (it could work in Moscow/Stalingrad/Rzhev). Yes you can pen T28E turret but they don’t have ammo there so good luck killing it.
it’s pretty useless as it can’t reliably pen Soviet tanks without doing some high iq I have high ground stunts, for USA tanks it should do fine (Crusader especially) but for Grant you need to flank. Same with T-50 you are wasting time as you can’t pen it’s hull only weaker turret (and it still requires multiple shots).
It’s a pointless addition especially since BP weapons should give us something worth grinding for not this archaic relic that was quickly abandoned by everyone in favour of rocket launchers. Honestly i would rather use garbage Sturmpistole with 6sec of reload than this thing in most situations.
Type 97 at rifle is at BR1 and fights only weak ass tanks of the USA with thin ultra thin armor and in uptiers it struggles, plus you can shoot it while standing, s18-100 requires you to go into prone position.

(115 meters)I phased it wrongly, yes it can pen turret yes but not hull. And only hull has ammo rack. You will be not destroying T-50 just by shooting it’s turret. You need to go up to have high ground to pen hull armor
that’s a good news, so they did not forget about it so i guess s-18 will be at BR1

Still…Its not bad for an “AT rifle”…i.will enjoy it, especially at BR 1.
T-50: 2 Of the 3 crew frontally is pretty great. He can either just drive away or swap seats and die.
T-28E can snipe the turret crew a few times but its not real good…too many crew…
unless you get side shot
