I was using the AVS-36 and the standard mode was semi-auto. For some reason it was changed to full auto in this latest update.
I hate full auto, and trying to fire a single shot with it is very hard. I don’t want to have to manually change it every single time i pull a soldier with these kinds of guns. Things are too fast paced for that.
Is there a way to change the default mode?
I think it’s one set mode, since they just changed this I don’t think they’re going to revert it back.
Players have been begging DF for fire mode selection in game menu but it’s probably hard coded or something since they are adamant on not adding it.

Well, if you prefer semi-auto, you might as well switch to the SVT.

And why? SVT is better as SA rifle than the AVS.
AVS only has five more rounds, .0whatever more dmg, and auto mode you dont want to use.
Forget about AVS, this is ideal weapon for you.

But I recommend to buy it only with GO order. Never buy GO weapons with gold.

Personally, I really don’t care what he default mode is on semi auto’s…IF…Once you change it, it stays that way until you change it again. Otherwise, I say leave them all set to fully auto since I believe the majority play with them on fully auto.
