Is the TOZ-B worth carrying?

The bit of additional firepower that is only effective in specific situations and the fact that you have to scramble for your PPD anyway when you’ve made your blast and the enemy isn’t down makes me question the need for such a weapon in the assault role.

Do you agree or do you recommend any specific tactic that I’m missing?

Tried it a few times - don’t bother any more…

Using it + swap speed perk + SMG is fun, just start the engagement with a blast in someone’s face for alpha damage.

I like the TOZ, but I usually have an upgraded carbine as a backup weapon so I can plink at targets further than my PPD can engage.

Bots seem to be better with the TOZ than with the PPD, so I give them the TOZ.

I would highly recommend keeping a pistol on you if you use it yourself.

Actually works great, thanks!

Its totally completely rubbish. You dont want to use it unless you are rofling

it’s preatty much situational.

i don’t deny that if you play close quarter it’s fun and effective.

although it really depend from your gameplay style. because you have to mind that carrying two weapons makes you really slow.

my general idea is, more firepower comes always handy. especially for the more ammonution ( since you carry two weapons ). but mobility is also a factor that you should consider, as this would limit you if you have to cover some ground, or preatty much cross open fields.

so, it’s up to you ^^

Really? I never think about it. Got to try with one gun though

let me correct my self, the weight system depends from your equipment, plus weapons that you carry.

most of my assaulters are made of ppds, pistols, tobz, 2 medkits, 1 explosive and 1 nade.

that is why my soldiers are slow.

so i’m not sure how slowed can you be with just two weapons.

A have a bagpack, axe, bowler on loadout too =D. Actually its got to be hard even going somethere with all these stuff

axe is 500 grm heavier than knife. that also count with the rest.

well, you can solve this issue if you have full and filled squad of soldiers made by 3/4/5 stars up. in order that you move with them, and they can cover you pretty well.

Having a shotgun and a rifle makes you pretty slow, but not as slow as having a machine gun.

Again, I would recommend a pistol with a shotgun. Even at close range the reload rate makes it bad in most situations. If you can sink headshots with a nagant revolver, or if you’re lucky enough to get a tokarev, it’s usable.

The base stats of the gunners include -1 mobility, which is why they are slower. engi has +1 mobility which is why he can outrun nearly everything with the hammer out. Radioman should theoretically be faster with +2 mobility but due to the radio doesnt.

Don’t assaulters have a mobility penalty as well?
And with 2 weapons they’re still faster than a machine gunner.

Im not ingame rn, would have to check yourself. I do not know all stats, only most of them :stuck_out_tongue:
