The SU-85M and the IS-2 look like meme tanks to me, like the Jagdpanzer IV in Normandy. They are not that strong, T-34/85 has a weaker armor, but I find it way more agile and reliable than the other tanks. Although I might fall into the trap of a fascinating 122mm gun it’s not worth doing 30+ levels to unlock the IS, and let’s not talk about the SU… luckily with the new tech tree these things will change.

I dont know why you should switch from T34 to IS1. Its a slower T34.

just demolish infantry and has a decent gun to destroy all german tanks including premiums
t34 has some issues pen the panzer70V frontal armor.

Good to know there’s some fellow lend lease users in Berlin, for me favorite part of the Sherman definitely has to be the 50 cal up top, thing shreds infantry if you know how to keep your commander alive.

I have it but I don’t play planes much in Berlin, so I have it out of coolness more than usefulness.
I actually use both T-34-85 and IS-2 on my lineup.
If you are not familiar with the IS-2, it has a big 122mm gun but also has a long reload where its better against large groups of infantry with HE with only enemy tanks being secondary unlike the T-34-85 that’s the main workhorse tank for the Soviets in Berlin. Slow engagements favor the IS-2 with engagement slow enough to fire more rounds even with the long reload as its a struggle to catch up in a rush. It could maximize it’s potential especially when defending, armored train matches or attacks that are not rushes.
